What's with the wheels/tyres on the matt green Audi A6 Avant? Not sure if I like it, but it's certainly different.

Is there some more Vossen World Tour's coming soon then?

Wasn't the Brutus on Top Gear a few season back. Quite the beast!
I think hes 1 of these people you either " love to hate" or "hate to love". but he deserves applauding for such a milestone.I cant believe Red Bull got a fine for the doughnuts though! i couldn't see that happening in MotoGP.

On the BTCC Civic, it looks almost as if the tyre is coming off the rim. A great shot!

VIP is not normally my thing, but this car looks great! a job well done.

Also worth mentioning that everything on this car is allegedly available to buy on RCM's website.

OK, so its not n the same league as any of these really, but i have a 2002 Skoda Octavia estate 1.8 20v turbo 4X4. its enough to embarrass most of the the cars we see daily on the streets here, especially off the lights when the 2 lanes go into 1. it always leaves me with a grin on my face.

TV just does not do this sport justice. In your last shot, i had no idea Eau Rouge swung that far round to the right.
And the shot of the Merc from the top of Eau rouge really gives an idea of how steep it is. I am also glad Speedhunters covers events in a non traditional way too. Its a great alternative insight.

I used to to buy the Max Power magazine over this, and look where they are now.

errrr hello, has everyone forgotten about Herbie? oh oh oh then there was DRUM, but that was more a TV series, does that still count?

Its a shame this era of racing had to end. I will most likely never get to see these things get properly thashed around a track. Is todays equivalent the Audi R18 e-tron? And what where the red & yellow flexi hose's hanging off the back for?
1 year, 1 month ago on Face To Face With The Destroyer
Dont see many (by many, i mean any) car garages like that in the uk. And that 'something German' BMW rocked it for me, and normally i think they look awful in that colour.

I couldnt seem to take my eyes off the race this year, i've never been to bothered before. Must be the challenge of the Toyota's. Still not as entertaining as the BTCC today though.

What was the car and engine from Mad Performance?
And, any ideas why there does not seem to be many tuned 2JZ Supas?

Is it a driving style, or just a case of cling on for dear life, n go where it takes you.

@j_kouki I agree complete, however, im a Alfa fan, and i cant help but think the wheels would of looked better on a GTA. but the Corrado looks great and remindes me of the days when i brought The Max Power magazine.

Great write up Sean, will we be seeing more of the TVR? i love those machines as they are, but this one looks truley badass.
Are Speedhunters any closing to finding out any more on the Gobstopper II yet?

Although i do get feed up of hearing of The words audi n Quattro they did make some great race cars.
Some fabulous machines on display you have brought to us. Thanks very much guys.

@KeithCharvonia Just goes to show that the unthinkable really does happen, and still today. Only at the weekend a guy lost his life at Donnington park after his mini crashed into a mustang that had spun out, he succumbed to his injurys apparently! Sad to think that still today these things happen.
1 year, 2 months ago on Famoso Mob: Meet The Gangster Of Drag Racing
That is a mighty fine looking machine.
Why do they use blower restraints though?
No garage is complete with out a big hammer, and no job can be done properly with out the aid of said hammer (a-la Jeremy Clarkson style).
However the Donnington GP was weeks ago, how come there was no coverage on here, or was this more of the behind the scene style post. Nether the less, great insight into the workings of a pro team. BTW, the desktop of just the hand and spanners is great, nice shot.

I quite liked the fit and finish of your wheels, plus, they look really smart. You just have to work out how to get more heat into the rears.

Did u get a tour of the downstairs production area too? Will there be a post on it if so?
Also, i wonder if the TVR production line was this efficent in its day.
