First Thunder game was a success for me. It started out slow with Durant being subbed out and Westbrook jacking up several shots in the first couple of minutes, but a dominating second half by Durant to put the Pacers away made it a worthwhile trip.
Oh, and Fisher only played eight minutes, which is good.
Has Byron Mullens's 25-18-4 game been mentioned yet?
By the way, none of this is my idea. This is ALL copypasted from the link.
This made me laugh way too hard.
To Oklahoma City: Andrea Bargnani, Mickael Pietrus
To Toronto: Kendrick Perkins, Eric Maynor, 2013 First Round Pick (Toronto's pick back)
*This deal is simple. The Raptors get tougher inside with Kendrick Perkins. They also get a good backup point guard as insurance in case either of the two remaining point guards get hurt. The first round pick back is probably the biggest key to this trade.
His school is in Michigan, that is.
I was REALLY close to getting tickets for this game since my sister played in the Conference USA Volleyball Tournament in Tulsa this weekend. However, my brother has class early tomorrow, and it's in Michigan. :(
@OBoy Jones III @neo12 @ashar00f We can still go 80-2, right?
@senseandsenescence Must be from all those s's when you log in. :P
@senseandsenescence I know. We're only three games in and everyone is acting like we're doomed to a 45-37 record and an early playoff exit. The team is just fine at the moment.
However, just fine doesn't make for interesting conversations.
@ALL I WANT 4 MY BIRTHDAY IS A BIG BOOTY GUL @supreme35 He's still young though. That teenage metabolism is probably still there.
@senseandsenescence I know. We can't let Scott Brooks off the hook though. While talent wins in the regular season, we still have to work the kinks out before the playoffs, especially with the West as tough as it is.
@OBoy Jones III Basketball is just a violent sport. I doubt ant of it is anything besides heat of the moment.
@senseandsenescence @dollarbillrussell Coaching is key in the playoffs, though. "Needing a basket in the fourth quarter" doesn't always mean "give the ball to KD thirty feet away from the basket and let him do what he does." It might work sometimes, but not against the Spurs or Lakers.
@Jooseppi KD was still one of the best players. Not good by his standards, but still good compared to Perk and Thabo.
@supreme35 @ALL I WANT 4 MY BIRTHDAY IS A BIG BOOTY GUL *The part about the 6k calories is the over-exaggeration, not the possible 15-20 pounds of muscle.
@supreme35 @ALL I WANT 4 MY BIRTHDAY IS A BIG BOOTY GUL Obviously it's a gross over-exaggeration, but I can realistically see KD gaining 15-20 pounds down the road without losing his explosiveness and agility.
@ALL I WANT 4 MY BIRTHDAY IS A BIG BOOTY GUL If PJIII or Lamb comes along, that wouldn't be such a bad idea.
@OBoy Jones III The same guy that had a DNP-CD against Houston?
There's no reason Durant didn't have at least 35 points tonight. The Hawks have one good perimeter defender (DeShawn Stevenson), and he's only 6'5. I understand he wants to get other people (K-Mart, Ibaka) in the flow of the offense, but come on KD.
