@LaraHarris @Notsosmartguy Approves of female Master @MrRazza likes counting down with Tony Blackburn I like that she didn't die, kind of takes it back to classic who where the companions are kinda just left behind and can return another time

@dancedj2k I thought so too until I saw the cyber Brigadier...and the flashback to him finding nothing but space at the coordinates...Then I was started thinking she's somewhere in the Tarids either way the Master is back and I don't think we've seen the last of her or him
10/10 and here's why, I am so emotional right now, like I'm happy that the Master is back and Kate is ok and that it was Cyber Brigadier that saved his baby girl...But OMG! Osgood is dead! I loved her and her new mixed 10/11 outfit...Danny was able to stay out of the cyber hive and still show his love for Clara and her for him even though she broke him with her loyalty never lie to the Doctor speech...The Doctor finally figuring out what kind of man he is....there is so much and so many feels from this episode and Dark Water.. SM has done it again OMG the flashbacks to other Doctor Who episodes with the Doctor remembering everything I could really go on and on and on...But I'm in tears so I'm going to stop here...but I'll be back :-) :-( :-)
@Notsosmartguy Agent of M.I.S.S.Y. @madscotsmandoctor @thedoctorisinthehouse I agree, Moffett is not ruining the show he is keeping it moving forward...I mean the Master can always regenerate back into a man...but it makes since that the Master would return as a woman to fool the Doctor

@TheNightmareChild is terrified about Dark Water Moffett lie? WHAAAAAAAAT?
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.....Steven Moffett gave us one hell of a twist this season...I have to say I'm impressed...I really am.
I liked this episode Maeve was a refreshing character...I like how Danny put Clara in her place about lying without berating her...the Doctor not remembering what Maeve looked like was funny...the kids in this episode were funny and smart.

I picked the Doctor, for the reason that he was right to make the Humans decide the fate of their planet, and see if they would make the right decision....Clara was right to ask the world for help in making the decision....but like the selfish creatures humans/we are they choose to blow up the new species with out giving a chance to find out what new creature it was....I think that if Clara wouldn't have intervened when she did the Doctor would have, but he had to let it play out...I understand Clara being upset to a point, but only because she didn't know the plan off hand and it felt reminiscent of him running off right after her regenerated, when they were in trouble with the clock work man...but other then that he was right.

I don't think Danny is controlling I just think he likes Clara to know that he knows she is lying about something.

10/10 for the interaction between the Doctor and Danny and the 3 of them together... The monster was more like a filler as opposed to a real threat in my humble opinion...The Doctor thinking changing his jacket was a major disguise was hilarious, and him telling Clara she made a boyfriend error, like she didn't know who she was dating...again hilarious...this episode was great because Danny and the Doctor finally met and had a solider showdown...and it showed how much all 3 really care for each other and how they all value their respective relationships.
I liked "Closing Time" it is actually one of my favorite Non-arc stories, anytime the Doctor and Craig are on screen together is good, it's a nice break from the danger that we all know is coming to darken the doctor's door and it gives that little nudge for the overly detail conscious fan, "like why did he have on a Stetson and oh look TARDIS blue envelopes" but in all it was a funny lighter episode and yes the Cybermen were looming and killing and Deleting...the cybermat was an awesome redesign from the original....and yes it is hilarious when the Doctor is arguing with a baby, and if you can get past Craig's insistence that he blew the cybermen up with LOVE, it really is a good episode.
Here's a challenge next time your having a not so great day watch "Closing Time" like it's the first time and see if that laugh and ultimate triumph doesn't bright your mood...go on...I dare you.
2 months, 3 weeks ago on Why I Love… Closing Time
This was good article, and I would actually only put the reveals at # 2 & 3 for the simple fact that for me they were actually a surprise....I thought the architect was going to be the person the vault, but I loved the twist of it being the doctor...and the reason behind the teller doing what it was doing...I like the twist all of them and I am happy to say that I was delightfully surprised by them all...

9/10 I was into this episode, but I wasn't sure if it was going to be one of those episode that stayed with me after it went off and, it went and had an awesome twist...Time Heist is going right on this list with listen as one of those episodes that you have to watch again, and again. So far the 12th Doctor's preimer season gets 2 thumbs up

I don't think there was an actual monster, I did at the beginning but when we found out Clara was the monster under the bed....Honestly I don't care much if it was because the episode was really good, and think the thing on the bed was just supposed to scare us and keep us scared for the rest of the episode
3 months ago on Poll: Listen – Was there a Monster or not?
I think the ratings might be dropping because of the people who don't know the history of the show can't except the fact that Peter is older, or they just aren't counting the people watching it on DVR or streaming it....
3 months ago on Doctor Who Series 8 UK Ratings Accumulator
I have to say this episode is ranking up there with Rose, Blink, and the Eleventh hour as my favorite Doctor Who episodes....I really liked Hide which was a good episode but Listen has clearly surpassed that for me..... SM has done a Superb job on this episode I will say it...it's the best episode this season and got me cemented Peter Capaldi as The Doctor.

I personally do not have trouble understanding him and I live in the USA, always have...even when he is speaking fast for me it's no different from any other Doctor...
3 months, 1 week ago on Is Capaldi’s Accent Causing Issues?
10/10 I think it was an awesome episode, the Doctor was funny and a little lighter...he was jealous that Clara had a Hero other then him....and Robin Hood turned out to not be a robot... Clara being the only one really paying attention in danger and Mark Gatiss is good because there are different real men that the Robin Hood legend is based on so to have the Doctor and Robin have that discussion about people forgetting them but being legends that make people believe and stand up....Brilliant, I know a lot of people didn't like the episode as much.

I rated it an 8 because it was a good episode, but it was nothing to get all WooHoo about going inside of a Dalek that was injured...fixing it and it goes on a murderous rampage....totally predictable I'm sure eveyrone saw that coming...I liked Peter in this episode due to the Doctor still wrestling with the after affects of the regeneration. Clara is back to the empty I'm still trying to figure out her purpose on the TARDIS self. Peter's acting carried the episode...
3 months, 2 weeks ago on Rate & Discuss Into the Dalek
I'm mostly glad I got to see him in action because, due to previous interviews, it seemed like he was going to run around like a crotchety old man....hating everything and not wanting a companion....but he was really great seriously I was really impressed, and I was especially impressed at the end which really cemented him as the Doctor for me, being vulnerable and showing that he did need Clara and how lonely he really is....and MATT, I had FEELS through the end, it was my chance to say goodbye to my First and Favorite Doctor and except the new Doctor and like him...I think Peter is going to pull this together and become a favorite to a lot of us in the Fandom. I do have room for another favorite Doctor. Plus most surprisingly to me this episode has me starting to like Clara....I was not a fan gave in a bit during TDOTD and TTOTD, but now I am seeing what a lot of Clara fans have been saying...SM did good again.

The Eleventh Hour is by far my Favorite with Smith and Jones following in a close 2nd.... this episode soooo solidified Matt Doctor (my 1st episode was Flesh and Stone) I went back and watched from Chris-Matt and I was enchanted with him (Matt) I could write a cajillion words about this episode and Matt, But this is his finest hour and a Doctor.
3 months, 4 weeks ago on New Who Openers In Perspective: The Eleventh Hour
Donna was funny and sympathetic and to the point, I liked her as a character and she and 10 played well off of each other in every situation.....my favorite time between the 2 of them was when everyone would mistake them as a couple and they would respond like a brother and sister who was just grossed out by someone by saying " No no we're not we're not a couple"
4 months ago on New Who Openers In Perspective: Partners in Crime
Martha is my favorite companion as well, Beautifully written article about this season opener...I watch this series often for Martha. Even though she doesn't get the attention and recognition from the Doctor as the other companions she held her own and helped the Doctor figure out and get out of quite a lot of situations....I love her for being the only Companion in New Who thus far to "Get Out" as she put it...Martha is really under rated and worth another look
4 months ago on New Who Openers In Perspective: Smith & Jones
I like this interview with Peter better then the others....this one explains how he will be different and not in an arrogant way, he is going to be great in this role I think because he is such a great actor.....I have liked in pretty much everything I have seen him in.....currently watching the musketeers and he is brilliant.
4 months, 3 weeks ago on Capaldi: Different, But Still Unmistakably Doctor Who
The thing is the Doctor's costume is just as much a part of the Doctor ad the actor portraying him, it's part of his personalityof how he sees himself after his regeneration, so yes a part of it can become gimmicky for us the Fans but that is how we The Fans relate and have a part of the Doctor. ... so for Peter I'm guessing his Dock Martins are going to be what we see as iconic for him unless like Matt he changes his costume every season, but I think he will keep the shoes. I'm looking forward to Peter's debut and I hippie is in a theater near me so I can go see it at the cinema.
4 months, 3 weeks ago on Capaldi’s Doctor More Alien, Less “human-friendly”
I'm not saying that they are not go actor's and such I'm saying that, once American director's get a hold of something making a lot of money, the quality gets lost and all tey care about is pumping out product. .... look at the Transformers franchise. ......I just don't want the quality of the show to be lost over ratings and money
4 months, 3 weeks ago on Zoe Saldana Wants Doctor Who Role
I would say Yes let her but limit how many Americans you let in the show, because then that would lead to American directors wanting a role and if WE Americans get ahold of this show.....Well let's just remember the Doctor Who Movie and bow our heads in silence and thank the Gods for Paul McGann...this coming from an American Let's tread lightly...
I agree with stargazer0118, Capaldi's interviews are sounding like he is coming in to "SAVE" the show like the Doctor was being portrayed all wrong and he is here to set it right....The Doctor has to be relatable in order to keep the audience on the edge of our seats and rooting a looking for him to save the day and the companion....Not so arrogant that we secretly hopes he just swaggers off....I just hope this is all a publicity scheme to throw us off.....PLEASE let it be a scheme
Themes are very important to shows they are like part of the show just as important as the characters...they move the story along during those silent moments....not to mention you find yourself humming them at odd moments.....or is that just me?
5 months ago on The Importance of Doctor Who’s Theme Tunes
I have to agree with the article, it wasn't the "Greatest Moment" although it was really really good, but who's to say that TDOTD was included in the tally for the poll.....I do agree that the ending to TDOTD was IMHO the greastest moment in sci-fi but I am just a humble whovian with lots of love for Doctor Who....

Now that is a villain I would love to see the Doctor up against in like a 3 or 4 part story, like in the classics when the villain would be pulling the strings and then in the last 2 episodes the big reveal and then the real battle begins...and I agree with the article the 12th Doctor would be the perfect Doctor for this, and let them bring the Daleks back in series 9 or 10, but the set up with Davros creating and building a new breed of daleks with the same casing of course I mean if it ain't broke and all right? But Yes BRING DAVROS BACK!
6 months, 1 week ago on Is it time for Davros to return?
I agree really good article, but I think I don't think bringing Gallifrey back was in anyway to tarnish any existing canon... I think it was like any other thing in the Doctor's timeline, it never happens in order for him and I think TDOTD was before 10 faced "Rassilon and the other timelords that were timelocked in the time war", so if you think about it Moffett actually kept to RTD's timeline...but the war doc and 9,10 not remembering was pretty smart thinking on Moffett's part because it didn't negate any of the 9thDoctor's tortured regret or 10's regret and war torn self. I think TTOTD also wrapped things up from TNOTD, he changed his own history, I believe Gallifrey was coming back at some point and MOffett was just the one who got there first. I think that 9,& 10's era is still in tact and safe.
6 months, 1 week ago on Why Bringing Back Gallifrey is Wrong
@stargazer0118 @VictorWong1 I don't think he contradicted himself, he sent the Time Lords back into the time lock because Rassillon was trying to push Earth out of orbit and replace it with Gallifrey and he was ready to begin the time war again.
The Capaldi intro really did get boring really fast, though I did like the compilation of series 1-7
