Per you it's barnharts job is to find someone to recruit instae and out state, hello he done this. Maybe your reading comprehension isn't so good. Or did you forget what you wrote in your own article. But it's okay, I understand Stoops is starting to scare some traditional thinking. UK, has to be put in its place.

Boy did your article just throw Coach Mark Stoops under the bus. Wow. I guess the recruiting class he put together in two months after the Joker was fired doesn't count for you does it. I guess what he is doing in recruiting so far this year is shabby as well.
Everyone forgets the scholarship limitations that Brooks had to deal with as well. He was on that thing called probation. Funny thing that how we were mired in it for awhile and he turned us around and got us to a number of bowls. The problem being recruiting. It never picked up after four in a row bowl games. Games we played against very good teams. People also don't want to remember Joker Phillips has been in this program for 13 years now. If the recruiting hasn't picked up under him by now, if he can't show he isn't able to coach after 3 years as a HC, why does he need a fourth year. Good grief a 14th year just prolongs the agony. Brooks showed the fanbase it can be done here at UK. We don't want to regress with Joker and we have and are. Take into account every SEC team in the South is modernizing their facilities as fast as they can in the 30-70million range and UK football spends 200k and anyone wonders why UK football fans are outraged????
Is Bobby Petrino the answer for UK, don't know, but I do know one thing, until he is asked, and if he accepts, everyone across the South will realize UK has gotten serious about football. The excitement for UK football would go thru the roof. Mitch Barnhart should think on that.

Bull UK football fans are passionate about UK football. We've set thru 60+ years of losing football and Brooks have shown we can be a competive team and win games and we want more. Unfortunately Joker has not lived up to the billing of taking UK football to that magical next level. UK football is fleeced for every sport in Mitch Barnharts love of Olympic Sports. 10 years of maintaining the pipes at Commonwealth Stadium is a crying shame. Putting Video and Ribbon boards in that were overdue 3-5 years ago where else of an A.D. would get away with it.
27% tickets sales are down from last year. The year before that the range was 10-15%. Its not the economy stupid as Mitch Barnhart likes blame it on. I know I've had tickets for several years and I gave them up. I took my money and put a pool in over the summer. Person I set with had season tickets for 35+ years and said he would not be back till Joker was gone. More fans said much of the same thing. This is fans sitting in his precious Kfund sections. UK fans have had it with the slapdash manner UK football is fobbed on. Never in my born days, would I see Bama, OH ST, Michigan, LSU, USC, Texas, ever treat their football team or fanbase or abuse them the way the UKAA and the A.D. has with their comments.
The collective response to Mitch Barnhart is this until you start spending the money and taking the same responsibility that you take towards basketball, these spending fans are not coming back. That is the 27% he is missing at this time. More are soon to follow.

And people wonder why UK gets out recruited year in year out. Been a sore spot with the fanbase for awhile now. Especially since the basketball team has essentially the same recruiting budget.

A very good idea. But as far as UK pairing with South Carolina I couldn't stand the thought of pairing with the 'Ole Ball Coach. I'd much rather pair with GA Bulldogs anyday.
