Hi Kathryn! Thank you so much for including my pattern! I'm such a huge fan of your blog, this is such a dream come true to be mentioned on Crochet Concupiscence! Sending you many, many hugs!

Hi Kathryn!
My life philosophy can be distilled down to this equation: Handcrafted + Not Like Everyone Else = Cool!
I am a crochet-loving cancer survivor! I am lucky that I can stay home and be the full-time caretaker for my two girls: my 5-year-old daughter, and my 91-year-old grandma. I began designing crochet patterns when I was 7 and my Cabbage Patch Dolls didn't have cute enough clothes (uh, I don't do that anymore...). I'm pretty new to the blogging world, but I love having a place to share my ideas and patterns. I adore your blog, and find it to be a constant source of inspiration!
When I'm not here, you can find me at www.CrochetDynamite.com

@CrochetBlogger I've been using fine hemp twine that I picked up in the jewelry making section of my local craft store. It's about the equivalent to size 3 crochet thread. It's perfect for what I'm using it for, but I think it would make an absolutely terrifying reusable tampon... LOL!!!

Oh I love this round-up! I have recently started crocheting with hemp, and it's so much fun! I think my favorite thing to crochet with hemp are mason jar covers. They are super absorbent, and make awesome coaster/cozies.

Thank you so much for the well thought out article about a very sensitive subject. I am so glad that you addressed the "we will allow you to give us handmade gifts" issue in a much kinder way than I am capable of. Your blog is beautiful and and I appreciate all of the hard work and energy that it must take to consistently create such relevant and insightful content.
