Or you can just download nova launcher, which looks the same as the nexus 7 home screen and just set it to rotate. No root needed and you get added features
@critter42 You could look into sprint and just get an Airrave for your home if that is your only coverage issue. It works quite well!
@JonDowns How?? What are you paying for now, that this is attractive? Even at 1GB a month SHARED this plan is still more expensive than sprint. And EVERYONE offers unlimited talk and text. (who talks more than 1500 mins anyway). You were seriously being ripped off if these plans save you money.
I recommend finding a friend that works for IBM and will give you the friends and family discount 25% off your monthly bill if they still support it.
o.o I saw that and was about to switch to Verizon! Until I saw +$40 per phone....ARE YOU CRAZY!? That means for 10GB (barely enough) for TWO people would be $180 plus tax. That is $90 a line! I have 5 people on my Sprint account and have unlimited everything and am paying $180 plus tax.
When will these phone companies realize? Tiered data is only useful to provide CHEAPER service, not more expensive. For example If unlimited data worked out to be $30/mo then 10GB should be $25/mo and 8GB should be $20 (proportionally I might add) 6 = $15/mo etc..
Seriously, Why do people keep paying more for less. Even the 1GB plan is expensive. For my family (5 people) to use that (yeah right, like 1GB would be enough) it would cost $50 + ($40 * 5) = $50 + $200 = $250
$250/mo!!!! FOR 1GB of DATA SHARED?????? Anyone choosing Verizon would be better off with flip phones and no data. Because 5 people checking their e-mail and facebook alone would go over 1GB. Seriously, get a flip phone and an ipod touch, because you will be living off wifi anyway.
