I say it's about speed and handling. If it can get to triple digit speeds (in MPH) in the time it takes any other normal car to get to half that, and it's built to go around a corner at insane rates of speed while holding it's composure, then it's a supercar.

I lean towards function over form. But I find that the form that takes shape from a car built for function is the best form of all. When form and function meet in the middle (or more towards function), that is when a truly amazing machine has been created and those are the builds I have the most respect for.

 @kscf31  @zamm333 Indeed TRD has a supercharger kit available for other engines, but not for this little boxer4. I think forced induction is the most logical route to more power. Whether it's from a turbo or supercharger, it makes the most sense.

Every single one of these cars is before my time, but they helped to define and shape the race and road cars of today. You can't not appreciate any of these car's significance. They were so much more hardcore and pure back then.  I have nothing but respect for these cars and even more for JD Classics for bringing them back to 100% again for a whole new generation of enthusiasts to appreciate.

I've been on a "wheels" kick lately, though more vintage wheels, but some of these really define our generation as car enthusiasts and modders. 20 years from now people will be looking for pictures of rare vintage wheels on the internet and these will be what they find.

Obviously those wheels are going to be a big conversation piece. Hell, the only reason I clicked on this spotlight was because of the wheels! I must say though, in this case, they work! But I wouldn't want to see what it would look like with the airbags raised to driving position...

I can only guess the swiss cheese holes are on one side to help balance the car. The way the engine is mounted (on almost every FWD car) means it has to be offset to one side. So he cut the holes to help balance that offset. ...or he just hasn't finished the whole thing yet?
