I don't believe this at all. Remember those iPad prototypes we saw at the beginning of the trial? They were from as early as 2002. Samsung didn't even have software to use that early.

This article is incredibly unsavory for the Android community. Flashing ROMS and modding is what makes Android GREAT.
This is definitely the nailin the coffin. Samsung has no chance in this trial, I haven't seen any evidence that would go in Samsung's favor as of yet.

I recently just took my Galaxy S III on a 4-hour flight and found it to be pretty good for watching videos. The screen is so good to look at.

This is the best possible move they could have made after the KickStarter campaign ended. By opening up actual pre-orders outside of KickStarter, they are obligated to either ship the final product to you or give you your money back. Whereas KickStarter backers get no guarantee.
