Awful. Heinous. Nauseating. Complete disaster.
This Spurs team is composed of men, not YMCA youth leaguers. To dress them as such is an insult not only to our 3 future hall of famers, but to the prestige of the franchise as a whole. I hope that following this Christmas game, these jerseys are burned to smithereens, and never again see the light of day. And if we lose the game and our shooting is poor, someone should lose their job for going along with this cheap marketing ploy. Okay maybe not lose their job, but still.
The Spurs are too classy to play in such outright deplorable uniforms.

Pop is so right on this.
Over the last 12 years, more than two million
Americans have been deployed to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan. But for
thousands who return home with injuries, another battle is just
beginning - this time, with the incredible wall of bureaucracy and inefficiency within the Department of Veteran's Affairs
(VA). This Veterans Day, please take a second to write your senators
and congressional representatives urging them to advocate for a top down reform of the VA as well as a
reallocation of funds towards veterans services in order to more thoughtfully, efficiently, and thoroughly
address the many important needs of the brave men and women who have
sacrificed so much to defend this country and the Constitution.

There's always the option for a trade, of course. And with such a log jam at the PG slot, they definitely have some flexibility in that department.

That shot he had in Game 1 of the Finals probably deserves a classification of its own in that summary of his accomplishments. Shame he didn't pick up that 4th title.

I'll have some of whatever he's smoking.

I have friends who hate the Thunder. And I mean, I guess I should. But I don't. And I think a huge part of the reason for that is Kevin Durant is just such a classy guy, and so is the OKC organization from the top on down.
1 month, 4 weeks ago on Kevin Durant 'loves everything' about Tony Parker's game
Man, I was 6 years old when I first watched this broadcast. And it's funny, I vividly remember thinking, that Dennis Rodman guy is really childish.
1 month, 4 weeks ago on Horry: Shot in '95 WCF vs. Spurs most meaningful
At this point, The Thunder are still a force to be reckoned with; however, vis a vis with a Spurs team at full strength, there is not question that they are out gunned.
2 months, 1 week ago on Russell Westbrook's return still unknown
No one has said it yet, so I'll go ahead ant throw it out there: I would have preferred that the Spurs leave that 15th slot open.
But if this is just a training camp signing or temporary contract, as has been hinted at, I suppose I'm okay with it.

Excellent. Let's just get Pop to start our bench, and have Aaron Baynes mercilessly beat those SOB's into submission as Sean Elliot commentates with blood lust delight.
2 months, 1 week ago on Screengrab Snafu: Spurs set to face the Milwaukee... Admirals?
We already have 15 signed with the edition of Sam Young anyway, right? I would assume because of that, he stands no shot at making the team unless the Spurs give up 2 players in a trade for 1, or potentially buy out someone's contract.
2 months, 1 week ago on Report: Cory Maggette set to join Spurs training camp
All of this is irrelevant. Since we are speaking in hypotheticals, Chuck Norris would kick everyone's butt. End of story.
2 months, 1 week ago on Kevin Durant’s All-Time Team Lacks Tim Duncan
A team composed of the leftovers ie: Duncan, Nowitzki, Bryant, James,
and Stockton could easily beat this team. But so could a team composed
of the Monstars from Space Jam and Patty Mills in front of a crowd of
hobbits from Middle Earth. An extreme counter example perhaps, but
relevant in that no matter how you slice it, lists like these are all
just a bunch of hooey. Just like the aforementioned hobbits are unlikely
to see any legendary NBA action soon, none of these teams will ever
While it may be fun discussion for some,
bickering over them at any length is sheer stupidity and journalistic
drivel at its finest-- especially in articles, such as this one, seeking to pile
onto some influential player's offhanded and half-serious remarks all
for the sake of community engagement and web hits (by the way, you're
welcome) in an otherwise uneventful few days leading into the
commencement of training camp. Really, who cares? Get over it.
@Spursfan66I'm sure the Danny Ferry and Coach Bud connection is definitely a major cause for this, and they wouldn't train with just anybody. But still, good point. Definitely awesome of the Spurs to take the time to "collaborate", if you will.

@Spursfan66 Or there's always the People's Republic of North Korea.

I'm just stoked to have an Italian on the team. Backpacking through Bologna this summer before we signed him, I was shocked to see how many college kids (huge college town) were rocking Belinelli Chicago jerseys. It'll be rad to see those same kids potentially throw on some silver and black.
2 months, 3 weeks ago on Ginobili welcomes Belinelli to the team, requests tortellini
Before passing judgement, I'd recommend
to anyone, especially true lovers of the game of basketball, to watch
the documentary VICE filmed about taking a reporter, a few
Globetrotters, and Dennis Rodman to North Korea on a diplomatic mission. Aside from the fact it features
Dennis, it's fascinating on a number of cultural and geo-political
Clearly, it's foolish to expect Dennis Rodman to somehow
reverse years of darkness, repression, and subjugation that have defined
the People's Republic of North Korea-- but perhaps on
some level, especially as Kim Jong Un is evidently a massive fan of the
1990s Chicago Bulls teams, Dennis may be planting some seeds and making a
positive impact, however small, on that country's future.

@Spursfan66 @ryankxlu Agreed! I don't think either is guaranteed minutes though just because of their success overseas.
