I think you are asking the wrong question.  I think the real issue is whether Telco's will continue to invest to support this spike in bandwidth while not getting paid more to do so... its where net neutrality and reality collide

Pricing theory would suggest that MS is sending a signal to the other two...."lets not race to the bottom".... when anappropraite amount of time has past and Goog / Amazon can take the gloves off with out loosing face things might settle back....

 

That is the theory...@swardley might have a different take, ie that Amazon had a bottle neck in their operation which they knew would be exposed if they drove too much volume, they have now  addressed that and can happily price at this level & hit the EBIT numbers they previous had and that this is the new normal... be interesting to watch

 @hamishmckenzie NZ is developed, unquestionably.... they do sell lots of sheep and dairy...but have pretty good telecommunications...
