An inconsistent contributor to DD/MSTI for a couple of years. There's a very strange bug on my keyboard right now. Kind of looks like a tadpole crossed with a shrimp, crossed with a beetle.
@LiterallyPFP I seen him in an apron. It's a thing.

@Moderately Excited Towel @Raul Franklin I am honored to be a pioneer.

@LiterallyPFP @Raul Franklin There's another word for that kind of 4-way deal...it's a nasty word.

@0ptimus @Raul Franklin Excellent.

Am I the first to offer this: Andre Ethier is from Arizona, and therefore this deal will happen #analysis

@Most Valuable foldamort If this happened this year, I would be forced to root against America.

@Diane, famous writer. great ratios. That is not at all creepy in the slightest.
@capnsparrow Yeah. Maybe this could be the start of everybody getting to watch a mediocre club instead of a few people getting to watch a pretty good club.

Damnit Russell, the Dodgers have blue and white uniforms, too!

@juanhenry Remember when all the Braves pitchers exploded last year?
How many MLB careers actually last 13 years?

@FigurativelyTymathee It's funny how the Miami guy voted for Posey higher than Baggarly did.

@Mike Petriello Looming is good. I like looms.
1 week, 1 day ago on If not Russell Martin, then who will catch for the Dodgers?
@the great dick tater I mean, sure, he's an improvement. Point taken. He's also one of the most anti-fun players in baseball.That being said, if we'd had an outstanding pitch framer, then maybe Kershaw gets out of the 7th inning in game 1.So, ok.
@HunterStricklandsOedipalComplex A 3 year deal for a RP is like a lifetime deal on an albatross.
@HunterStricklandsOedipalComplex @pedro guerreros coka illness All the former Padres??
@moneynow27 Which Guerrero would play second, you just said "A Guerrero". I want to know which one, clearly you don't mean Alexander Gu-error-o,
Montero is a mega-nah.
@MFYG @Raul Franklin @Purple Drank No, I mean mas mariachis locos quien quieren bailar en los huesos de Davey Crockett.

@Purple Drank Quick, get moar Mexican players!
@BIah If you want him to be done at any time, just say "it's clear that you are concerned for your sister. We are doing well together. I do appreciate your letting me know about your concerns. I'll let you know if I need more input on our relationship. I'll see you around." If he persists, then say: "I have to now go over here to this place where you cannot follow." (this can be said in any way you see fit.).
@FigurativelyTymathee @TheConman @Dustin Nosler Well, he doesn't strike out as much as most Cubs, so there's that.
1 week, 3 days ago on Dodgers Reportedly Add Three More To Front Office: Bream, Carr, Finley
I'd be interested to know if the availability of truly outstanding scouting can make the difference in finding a hidden weakness in a player. I am particularly thinking about the work Kershaw is undoubtedly going to do in breaking down Carpenter and finding the areas in his strike zone that can be exploited.
@Ker$haw$Dodger$ Seems like a stretch.
1 week, 4 days ago on Hanley Ramirez Declines Qualifying Offer, Obviously
I am looking forward to less of that image of Hanley with his tongue out. Kind of grosses me out. He's normally a good-looking guy.
@Jacopo (How is this a bad plan!) @Raul Franklin @moneynow27 Well, that's nice because I like Kemp.My point is more that I like the "brain trust" and want them to look for good stuff out there in the whole world without worrying too much if it all comes together in 1 move, 100 moves, or 0 moves.I assume nothing about who they'll sign, trade, keep, or 'get'.
@Jacopo (How is this a bad plan!) If the Dodgers had already signed people without a set Front Office, they would be the Rockies.
@Jacopo (How is this a bad plan!) No. I'm kind of amazed that the front office is this solid already.
@FigurativelyTymathee @Disgruntled Goat @Purple Drank http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=bream-001sco
@Purple Drank Quite the haul
@LiterallyPFP @Dustin Nosler Every time I try to watch this sort of video, I get prompted to watch some Bumgarner bullshit.
@Moderately Excited Towel Manley Ramirez.
@Technogit The goal is to make the world more fucking complicated because that is the only way things happen.
@Subtle Euphemism aka Jonathan Lingo Ask Johnny Gomes.
@Jacopo (How is this a bad plan!) @moneynow27 It's not like trading one guy doesn't mean we can't sign or trade for another guy in a totally separate deal.
@moneynow27 I still agree with Mike: CC is surprisingly valuable, especially because he is owed significantly less than Kemp in total.
@Dustin Nosler I love when a tweet starts with "hear me out" as though a strong argument could possibly be made in a tweet.
@Diane. Author of Ned Colletti erotic fan fiction p Gross?
@ak825 @BlueMarvin @Raul Franklin Right. Exactly. That's why, even though I love Kemp, I acknowledge and appreciate that I am not the driver of this bus, just a passenger.
@BlueMarvin @Raul Franklin Obviously there's a line, and all of the FO guys have toed it - in SD, TB, and OAK.
@BlueMarvin @Raul Franklin When cutting payroll will do nothing to get the team remotely close to the luxury tax, I would say it's a different ballgame than in a small market, though it's interesting that we have top guys from 3 separate small market budget obsessed teams.
@BlueMarvin @Raul Franklin Yeah, but the thing is, this isn't Tampa Bay. In LA, with the LA attendance and TV deal, putting a winning team on the field IS running the business.
@BlueMarvin @ak825 this.
@ak825 @Raul Franklin Frankly, I give them so much more leeway and confidence than I gave the previous front office, that I am not going to worry about "not liking" their deals.
The best thing about the Dodgers new front office is that I am 100% confident that they have already reviewed all the scenarios we have discussed and many more we haven't and have strategies and arguments for a range of choices. I would love to be a fly on the wall in their discussion sessions.
@Purple Drank @HunterStricklandsOedipalComplex @The Monocle Because the Dodgers have a genius for a GM?
