Not sure on specs but I'd like to see Motorola's solid hardware on a Nexus device but it's probably too close to the sale of Motorola to Google.
Second choice would be HTC. They need the most help out of the top Android Manufacturers to stop their decline. Samsung are doing fine with their Galaxy line up.
Specs hmm: Anything with the ARM Cortex A15 (dual-core) architecture would be nice,1 GB Ram, same screen size as the galaxy nexus but SAMOLED+ or SLCD2 and finally 2300mAh+ battery.
@Neph I think they have so many pre-orders backed up that they won't actually have stock to sell until September :).
