This is very nice. I like to use Python and Matplotlib for my visuals, but if you need to get something online, this is great.

So, like, I read Schiller's twitter conversation and I have to say I have no idea what he's talking about. What is all this bullshit about "being rational has got me nowhere" and "Celtics ruining the regular season" supposed to be about? Ok, you don't like the Celtics. Whatevs, that's your prerogative; liberated fandom and all that. But it's not like anything they're doing is crazy or inconsistent with their overall season arc. They started out weak due to the shortened preseason/no training camp, worked themselves into shape, and posted a 24-10 record after the midway point. They had Ray Allen sitting out for something like 10 games and had to rely on Bradley, causing them to tweak their rotation more, until Bradley himself got injured while Ray was working back into game shape. Pierce got hurt in the Philly series as well, which caused his stats to decline.
Pretty much everything the Celtics have done so far is directly traceable back to the individual abilities of their personnel coupled with the injury history. There's nothing weird or irrational about a good team stocked with at least three surefire Hall of Famers playing really good basketball. Sure, if Rose and Noah don't go down maybe we're not talking about the Celtics; maybe we're talking about the Bulls having just closed out Miami in 5, for all anyone knows. You don't like them, that's cool, but don't pretend like they just came out of nowhere and it's such a goddamn surprise.
