I love my chromebook! I still use the desktop for more intensive work, mostly video editing, but yes, cloud computing is awesome. I just Wi-Fi tether on my Nexus 4 when I run out the door. Works brilliantly!
OMG me too! One time I had to buy a battery for my CAR and it was $109!!!
Also, I need to put gas in the tank every few days or IT STOPS RUNNING!
This is my first hand taste of how the auto industry is screwing me over. I'm never buying a car again! I'll ride a bike forever (until the chain breaks or something and I guess I'll just bitch about that too).
I'm kinda glad I didn't immediately jump on this.
I was aiming for the 16 GB but I'm going to wait for Google to replenish stock (not like I have a choice, right?) and hope that the screen issue is addressed.
What a shame. This is the same reason I dislike the pirating movies and music.
I feel that if you really like someone's hard work, you should show your support with your wallet and developers/writers/artists/musicians/actors/etc. should be justly compensated for their efforts.
My preciousssssssssssss
This is disgusting. I support Google with my wallet (phone, tablet, chromebook and soon Google TV and Nexus Q) and this article reaffirms that decision.
The simple fact that the Nexus Q is built in the USA and not by teenagers in China working 60 hour work weeks for what amounts to $290 a month has me sold 100%.
I can't wait to order one and enjoy it with my family.
Project Butter!
Most people are so Apple zombie-fied that any hint of lag turns them off no matter what the specs, no matter how many apps and graphics intensive operations are running at the same time. This is that great layer of polish that folks have been demanding from Android and it will surely work wonders on impressing folks on the fence with the OS.
