#6 hands down! I think the relationship piece is one of the most crucial elements because buying a website isn't necessarily a marriage, but it's certainly a long term commitment...and you're going to want to like and enjoy the folks you're partnering with! It definitely is a balance of "working with honest and good people"...especially when those people are wicked smart and passionate about their clients and what they do!
Great article, Todd!
I miss John Cooney and how patient and brilliant he was. He was always willing to listen to my crazy million questions, offer a new way of looking at a problem, or challenging me...always pushing me to grow and learn more. He made me smarter. I liked his laugh, when he wore that pink shirt, and that he was a fellow vegetarian but still knew how to cook meat. He was humble and friendly and awesome. I miss the movember mustache, running into him getting coffee at 3pm, his snarky emails, and that he was a profound leader to us all without even trying. Such a fantastic human and I'm beyond grateful for having worked with him, learned from him, and known him.
Major high fives. Awesome article KC!
I love this post and clever video, Andy! I'm a visual learner, so the video with the step by step instructions is super helpful! Kudos!
Great article Mary Fran! I know I don't like ketchup on my pancakes :) I can't wait to share this with clients + friends!
Great article Chef Barrett! Does this officially make me a wedding planner? :)
Shellie, what an amazing blog post! I'm not a designer, but I feel the excitement and encouragement to go out and do what I love. I especially liked the paragraph on "Liking"...it's always a good reminder not to just be a listener/follower...but to be a doer/creator :) Thank you for sharing!!!
