so glad you did a feature on this car. every time i get fead up with dealing with my own corolla project i look at this car and i remember why i took the project on in the first place. heres a link for youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcdJH9uadlA
this car is why i love 4door drift cars and one of the reasons i got into drifting in the first place.
had to pick stratos because of what it was able to accomplish, but the m1 was another choice not due to its being a supercar but because of the cars that followed because of its existence.
my focus is set on drift cars, hot rods and the more pro touring side of the performance muscle car world, but i could probably get in to the euro scene i love bmw drift/performance cars so i could see myself getting into the bagged and tucked vw audi world.
i respect him for building what he wanted but this isn't really what i've come to expect from you guys.
alex lee wallpaper please
best bet wold be jtp for the championship if he keeps his cool. best new car probably mike essa's e46 and rookie of the year luke pakula or nate hamilton. if dmac can keep on driving like he did in qualifying for long beach he should do well in his new s14 so i guess 2 picks for best new car.
na just because of practicality.
god i went for the 4 rotor gs i wish i could have voted for the notchback aswell. had a feeling the 380sx would win that car is amazing but so pointless and for what he wants to do with it and where he wants to do it just ridiculous.
how can you even expect us to pick from that list. like its been said many times through out this 80s theme it was probably the best decade in automotive history and this list proves that fact.
please feature on the b110
personally i would go with the 2jzgtte out of an aristo and then hook it up to an r154 cheaper than the 2j getrag combo from the mk4 or just go the ls route, then i would put it on meister s1s or diamond racing steelies depending on budget. i would definitely leave the outside as is and if you went the 2j turbo route since the passenger headlight is missing you could use it as an air duct for the turbo and not have to look for another one.
amazing car but the fact that he wants to try for 400 on a tire that only has a speed rating for 270 if im not mistaken is insane. i highly doubt that tire will last long at nardo which is supposed to be bumpy at that speed a speed far greater than what is considered its safe top speed. the car is incredible but all i can think of is whats the point?
do you know what the guy in the 86 was running looked like he was putting out a ton of smoke?
i dont see the point of ditching the the 3 series coupe it has so much history attached to it. it also looks pretty massive the m version petter have a lot of hp and torque to get it moving in the way we all expect an m car to move.
i love the speed of the internet but there is just something about magazines its hard to explain. for me its the slight feeling of hope i get when i check the mail each day hoping my monthly copy of hot rod has arrived and the excitement when it finally does come. I really hope the printed side of the car world does not vanish like so many other things have because of technologies ever expanding grip on society.
i saw a quick video of him on driftworks not to long ago and remember thinking holy crap that still stands.
wish alex would get a big sponsor so he could compete more he is obviously an incredible driver and i think it would be cool to see a canadian run a full fd season especially one from calgary.
would love to see something like this in fd but it probably wouldn't pass tech for some stupid reason
the truck is very nice. not a fan of the wheels or the interior while the stack gauge and wilwood pedal set are very nice the red fabric and speakers just remind me of some riced out honda. love the engine set up though.
