My favorite feature is the IR Blaster so I can ditch all my remote controls!
@CharlesPruitt Hint: It's not the phone, it's the carrier(s) it's available on - or more to the point, the one certain carrier it's NOT available on (yet?)...
"Secret"?, "Newly discovered?" - No, not in the slightest! I knew about these 3 days after the plans went live. I switched to the new plan in June because I was (one of the few, apparently) for whom the new plans made sense and saved me money over the old plans. I was concerned about the 10GB limit - we had never been close to that in the past, but with tethering included now, I could see it being an issue. When I mentioned my concerns to the salesperson at the VZW store, he cheerfully told me I could call at any point and get my cap bumped for $10/2GB, so I'm not sure how anyone could call them secret or new.
@NicholasEther1 Nope, that's the BIG coverage issue, but not the only. Sprint is just too unreliable where I live and no amount of kludges like that will help.
@NicholasEther1 @JonDowns Cost is not the only reason to use a particular carrier. For instance, if I actually, y'know, wanted to be able to take and make phone calls or use data at my own home, Sprint is not an option - neither is AT&T, T-Mobile or any of the other Non-Verizon carriers. I, too, will save about $100/month. You're right, I'm probably being seriously ripped off - I'd love to use a different carrier, but until the rest of them can build a network that actually works, I'm stuck on VZ.
@HansKwazneski huh?
I ordered one after about two weeks of using an official case and haven't regretted it at al. If feels great holding it (the official silicon case was too squishy and attracted dust like crazy. I have received several positive comments when people see the android peeking out on the back - I never got comments from other cases. I'm probably going to pick up a couple of the other colors.
