This token limitation has been known for quite a while (and I don't even use Twitter or developer Twitter apps). I am baffled every time I see someone release a new Twitter app. If they hope for anyone to like their app they have to know they are going to hit the limit!
Since Google owns Motorola Mobility, I would like to see them negotiate a cease fire on lawsuits with Apple for all Android device makers.
@ZuhaibZakaria Awww, I'm so thick sometimes. I didn't even see that. I was wondering why they didn't make it 2.0 since it is "new almost everything".
Why in the world would the Beatles have any motivation for doing so? And why is this important for Apple to do this? I hope they don't ever use this logo on any marketing (unless it is for Beatles music).
I just clicked it for the first time in a few hours and it went away. So either it is resolved, or there was server overload problem earlier that isn't occurring at 12:45am PST. :-)
I like happy Cid... but they lost me at angry/serious Cid. This one looks nice too. I have been a fan of simple designs for a long time.
This looks to me like a Usability Study. I even read a nice book on website usability which included screenshots of websites which did both a good and a bad job of each point the author was illustrating. It is a great way to learn.
IANAL: This by itself is not damning evidence, but if their designers were lazy and their bosses approved design changes that were too close to the look of the corresponding iPhone's feature then I suspect this could be evidence of a problem.
@kanoneyez I thought you were referring to "Make 7.... UP YOURS!" ;)
While I am very interested in how this experiment works out, my wallet is firmly in my pocket... until sometime after launch.
This feature is enabled in CyanogenMod 10, and is manageable from system settings. It even has an interface to select which apps to apps are available on the launcher menu. I tried setting it up two different times on my Galaxy Nexus and both times I found it to cause a lot of instability and system slow downs.
If this became a stable feature it would be perfect for my Asus Transformer when I hand it over to my 4 year old or my 6 year old.
I want my rectangle to make phone calls, have a large-ish screen, have an unlockable bootloader, and have the newest version of Android installed. Ideally it would have "Nexus" in the name.
My wife wants a rectangle which runs iOS, and that's a fine choice as well.
Why did the leave out a 17" model? I'm bummed that my next laptop will have a smaller screen than I have ever had to use before. That won't drive me to buy a new Macbook, it will only make me fight to keep my old one working as long as possible.
That is one expensive, and ineffective, hammer! :-)
@Haloruler64 Ah, there are a lot of features not available that I didn't realize. I have defrosted the S Voice app and I can definitely see the difference.. Thanks.
Or you can just download the Vlingo Labs Beta app S-voice appears to be based on.https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vlingo.phoenix
