@WimRoffel Mr Chivvis and the likes will wake up one day to a very grim reality. For the time being, they must provide food for their families....we are in the days of bread and butter journalism.

@Lt Exley One who is doing better by the fall of Kadaffi....the FRENCH....their EMPTY coffers desperately yearned to steal the Libyan revenues....now they've got it, but the coffers are still empty....so they are taxing the rich at 75%. So they plunder their still existing African colonies (maintaining their network of crony dictators and overthrowing governments), go after Libya....and still are in the red!!! Lazy bloody bastards. (Oil in Gabon, Uranium in Niger, Diamonds in Central Africa, cocoa, gold & Diamonds in Ivory Coast....all flows into the French coffers, while the Africans grovel in squalor and uranium waste!!!) Once of these days.....we'll live the horror of an African explosion!!! The Germans work hard, the French plunder.....Libya was a VERY french initiative.....DUMBAMA went along for the ride....kadaffi and the Libyans paid the price, America was left with the dregs and the horror of their Ambassador dead and dragged thru' the streets of Benghazi.....Hillary came, she saw, and he died.....what a delight! Ha, ha, Hah!!!!

We are really seeing the fall of the West before our very eyes.

Journalists of the MSM (yes, FP included) still have their heads stuck up their a--es, refusing to admit the reality that's staring them in the face! Refusing to admit the dumb, misguided, bloody actions of their governments: the lies they tell, the grave injustices and killings they do, the countries they destroy and the very visceral hate that they generate.  Journalist continue to spin, spin, spin....ad nausaeum ....aren't they giddy???

THE PRIDE THAT COMES BEFORE THE FALL!!!!

i LOVE THESE CONVENIENTLY CHOSEN ARGUMENTS TO JUSTIFY WHY AMERICA JUST HAS TO BE THERE.

Some on the world scene will be ELATED: We have you where we want you!!!! Just remain in your quagmire and bleed to death by your deluded sense of a world mission and a desire to be "bowed to."

Until this deadly American mindset of self delusion is destroyed....poor USA is in for a tough ride.

Know that the  true Ivorians, not the many foreigners who have invaded the country and are killing, torturing  and abusing them, taking their lands and propert under the benevolent eyes of the world powers......true Ivorians, and Africans who are concerned about the continent KNOW WHAT A RARE PEARL Gbagbo is. No amount of defaming by a so called "International Community" hell bent on imposing a new breed of compliant dictators under the guise of twisted democracy through guns, fomenting rebellions,  and ballot rigging,  will convince them of the contrary. THEY LIVE THE TRUTH AND ITS CONSEQUENCES ON A DAILY BASIS. The audience of this author is a community of pirates and thieves who seek to justify their illegal invasions and resource grabbing to gullible audiences who have no other source of information, who are too lazy to dig deeper, or who are just too afraid to lift up the corners of the rug to see what lies beneath.

This is what journalism has come to. Gbagbo....a Tyrant?????? It ain't so because some ill informed jerk decides to say so....it ain't so because the powers that be would like to brainwash an ill informed public that that is the case. It was BECAUSE of Gbagbo that Ivory Coast is a multi-party democratic state. Gbagbo won the past elections IN SPITE of massive rigging and the will of the hyperactive Sarkozy (may his soul burn in hell) who wanted his personal friend there. Everything was rigged and illegal, an vile and calomious press campaign was led in the main stream media to vilify Gbagbo ....and ended by a violent coup perpetrated by French forced who tried to kill Gbagbo as they did Kadaffi. Gbagbo has always been a man of peace and dialog, when he advocated recounting the votes, his adversary (who claimed to have won with a 9.5% margin) was calling for war!!!! Now we have a country that is on the verge of becoming another Somalia: opposition and journalists in jail, armed bands roaming every where, massive poverty and sky high prices. Farmers are being killed and run off their lands, that are taken over by partisans and countrymen of the Dictator ALLASSANE DRAMANE OUATTARA (from Burkina Faso}. One can even speak of a slow burning genocide in the West of the country....people live in terror.....if they are not killed, they are jailed, or on the run.

Only because, one man wanted the interest of his country and people before that of foreign interests....GBAGBO lives in the heart of true Ivoirians, and all Africans in search of peace, justice, and self-worth. Even the most illiterate of Africans have learned how evil foreign powers can be.....normally they would live and die believing the contrary!!!!

The world is yearning for peace; and is FEDDUP of all this talk of war by those who live in a bubble, and are constantly striving to be the big bully in the yard. Countless examples exist if we take a look around the ME or SE Asia, etc. Israel wants to be the unaccountable  little  rogue bully in the yard (of others.) Until Iran has a nuclear weapon, we will not be at peace in the region....and the talk of war and threats will not stop.

After they have created a no man's land in Afghanistan and Iraq,  now they are asking other countries to fix the broken pieces....while undermining the said countries. the USA does not understand that people want to LIVE and in PEACE. They are feddup of wars and bombs and drones and occupations and lies and duplicity and resource grabbing.

People see through the lies .....and are feddup!!!

(KABUL, Afghanistan) — Afghanistan's president said Thursday that 18 people killed in a NATO airstrike in eastern Afghanistan on Wednesday were all civilians.

NATO has so far said it has no records of civilian deaths from the pre-dawn strike Wednesday on a house in Logar province. The NATO and Afghan troops were going after a local Taliban leader when the international coalition says they came under fire and called in an airstrike on the house.

(INTERVIEW: The Loneliness of the Afghan President: Karzai on His Own)

"This is unacceptable. It cannot be tolerated," President Hamid Karzai said of the strike in Logar. He criticized NATO for not being able to provide an explanation for the vans piled with women and children's bodies that villagers displayed to reporters.

NATO confirmed only militant deaths from the strike but has sent an assessment team to investigate allegations that civilians were killed either alongside or instead of insurgents.

How very misleading!

Was a poll taken that says that people KNOW how many innocents are killed?

That a country's sovereignity is being infringed?

That for each innocent killed, maybe 10 terrorists are born.

99% of the population read the head lines , or look at TV and BELIEVE whatever spin the media puts on it . The media had its agenda, a corporate one , most often very much aligned with the military industrial complex, and America's desire to dominate the world (military bases in 150 countries.) People would not even DREAM of the horrors their tax dollars are used for, they are happy to parrot "they envy our liberties, that's why they hate us!!!!" Our lack of knowledge will drown us, when we do wake up, it will be way too late. While our debt explodes, our bridges crumble, our education system breaks down, our health care makes us sick and ruins us, and the prison industrial system thrives at the expense of the defenseless, we are picking fights all over the world, and are blindly led to doom by a dangerous extremist little bully in the middle east that flaunts every law on the book but we call our ally. Now after sewing doom and destruction in the middle east, we are turning our attention to China to pick a fight and try to do as much damage as we can over there. 30 years from now, the brain-dead public will once more be wondering "why they hate us!" In the US, it takes a trial, arguments, and a jury to decide guilt; ofter it takes years, but on the day after the massacre in Syria, we had already decided that Assad (how stupid must he be!) was guilty. Now we are even (how stoopid can WE be!!!!) flaunting statellite images of PROOF???? Are our collective memories SO short, that we have already forgotten what a fool Colin Powell made of himself at the UN with trumped up images of mobile truck labs making bio-chemical weapons. But who really cares!!!! we do what we wish....we are the biggest and badest bully on the block!!!
