@FF_pickups When's the last time a coach got fired for getting to the Conf. finals? I think it's wishful thinking to see Brooks get the axe for at least another year.

@shiki Harden played way better tonight and got to the line. He didn't get to the line in Game 1 for as much that he was lackluster. Say what you all want, but it's pretty weak to blame a loss on the Refs....bad calls happen, good teams overcome bad calls...period. A 1-3 pt loss can be blamed on the refs, and the garbage points at the end don't count towards making Game 1 as close as it appeared at the end.
Everyone needs to get off this 'Refs blew it for us'....if you honestly think that the league wants SA to win vs Durant, you are full of it. Take off the glasses and lay the blame at the feet of coaching and lack of discipline. In defense of Brooks, he doesn't have the personnel to beat SA. SA is weak against bigs, and our bigs just don't cut it. SA shot better during the regular season in both total points and percentage, we can't win a shootout against them.
@ChilamBilam12 He's getting frustrated by the tight D played on him. Did ya see the late fouls he committed, pure frustration. Fisher is being left in to force SA to guard a 4th person, with just KD, Russ, and Beard out there...they can focus more on them. Harden at least got to the hoop and the line tonight.
@FF_pickups What a loser mentality. If we lose, then the Heat will beat them. Really?? Did you see the Heat tied with a banged up Boston team...the Heat that was down 2-1 to the Pacers. Quit crying and start believing you coward.
There's a run coming, but can we stop them??
Westbrook for 3 all the way to fishing during the finals.
@LanceUppercut Pass me whatever you just chased with that Jack Daniels.
@Lasers You obviously didn't watch Game 1 closely, they are just making what they missed the other night. Moreover, Parker is having a normal game against us...heaven forbid he roll of 42 this series.
No one got out on that 3
Other players have to step up to force the Spurs to lay off on KD and Russ.
@FREE_COLE 2 teams in a playoff series....can't make meaningful comments if you think you can just speak about how the Thunder played.
Great energy in here, however, 95% of you are taking a one-sided view of this. Do you not think SA took some valuable lessons away from Game 1, especially all those turnovers?? Parker and Duncan going 6-15 shooting each?? Anyone notice how many open looks the Spurs had from the 3pt line?? The Thunder need to open up a whole new gear if they are going to have a chance in this series. The Thunder didn't approach the Spurs any differently than the Clippers...primarily shut down Parker, and that worked for 3 quarters till the Spurs started hitting their shots. We need more from the bench, ALOT more!
@EatSleepThunder All those bounce back games weren't against the Spurs after playing the Spurs in SA. I'd say the 2-15 is the more salient point. Worse, what are the stats of TD and Parker after going 6 for 15 each? I think the Thunder are shell shocked and SA is about to post another double digit win. Can't beat the stats....
@ThunderChick2010 @bmuelle21 This series won't go 7, if OKC is gonna win, it needs to be in 6 and won in OKC.

@Matt32 I don't think Russ can do it all series. Parker busted 42 on him earlier this season, where was he then?? Russ played well, but he isn't going to be able to keep Parker under control. Notice how tired he was by the end of the game...sacrifice points for D. Need to find a balance, but if he commits anything less than 100% on D and Parker will go wild. The Thunder def need more from the bench, and I wouldn't count on Fisher repeating what he did tonight. Teams that beat the Spurs do it by outperforming the bench. Missed a huge gift tonight with 3/5 Spurs having off games (Parker, Green, Duncan).
@Matt32 It's gonna take more than Russ to shut down Parker. Parker had an off night, and if Brooks commits more to Parker, you are going to see wide open 3's and back doors galore. There's a reason why they have won 32/35. Suffocating D only works if you can do it for 4 quarters.....3 qtrs left OKC gassed, better try a different approach.
@abusa Did you notice how Tim Duncan and Parker didn't show up....you need to open your eyes to the other team before you wave off worrying.
