Would anybody be upset if Derek Fisher were to somehow take a horrible fall after the game

II don't care if Derek Fisher hits a 3. Perry Jones can do that too
Yeah OKC ain't sexy right now. It's a good place to be, especially if a championship comes out of it.
Still KD deserves some of this MVP talk.

That Portland lost still sticks out like a sore thumb to me. Until that loss is avenged the national media will continue to keep OKC under the radar (relatively speaking) and come up with reasons to say LMA is or PG are tied for #2 player in the league.
Probably not. Fisher will save his job.

It comes from a level of impatience. I just wanna see the guy play.
It was happening to start the season, what the hell happened?
Maybe I am. Maybe your underestimating his potential ego. You can't say it's completely unfathomable that this guy at some point goes "fuck this"
Ok so PJ3 leaving of his own volition obviously isn't anything coming up on the table anytime soon. But I do worry about how much he'll be invested in the team with his talents being squandered on the bench night in and night out. Especially since he makes the most of the time he gets and it still doesn't seem to matter the next game. If a guy can help your team, you gotta find a way to get him on the court. You could say he'll sit in line and be a good foot soldier and keep stepping up when his name is called, and I'd be inclined to believe you if Gregg Popovich was our coach. (But also if Pop was coach, I think PJ would be playing) I just think Brooks needs to get this guy on the court. Flatout
Want to be traded/Quits on the team/Leave in the future and return to haunt us. I see all these as possibilities the way things have been going for him.
I know he was the 28th pick, but the guy has a lot of potential. You can all agree with me that it's being wasted riding the bench. He could do a lot for our team.
I just hate the thought of him blossoming elsewhere
He almost always does good things when he sees the court.
puts up career high in pts then has a string of DNPs. You can't prove anything without a real opportunity
I sincerely worry that Perry Jones will want to sign somewhere else in the future.
Remember this is a pick that was considered the steal of the draft. This guy was projected as a top 3 pick at one point. You mean to tell me there's no way to get him on the court? Come on Brooks. This is my last gripe with you so far this season. Freak athlete, good stroke from 3, 6'11.
Play that man.
Yep. That must be the problem
Trying to understand why my reply comments aren't directed at anybody. I swear I'm hitting the reply button.
@lockness11 I feel like this is the same thing he's been doing in past seasons. Except theyre a few steps backwards now.
I always hated those pull up 2s out of nowhere
He's never averaged 1 more rebound and 3 less assists
People aren't even watching the Thunder this season.
Here's a piece of a conversation between Zach Lowe and Bill Simmons when BS listed his top 4 MVP candidates (he had KD 4th)
ZL: KD is undoubtedly second in my mind. But it's been boring watching him go out and put up 30 10 and 5 on 50% shooting every night.
BS: Is that what he's doing!?

Nah, I don't participate in a lot of message boards. I read this one as a quasi-casual basketball fan (only in terms that I'm not particularly knowledgable when it comes to stats, love the game and the thunder) and I enjoy the insight here. I often take a lot of the arguments and stats posted and masquerade as a Thunder sage for my friends in person. I read only one other team sports blog: Pats Pulpit on SB nation. Diehard patriots fan (since 01 admittedly, but Idgaf) and even with the season the Pats are having the attitude over there is "Omg how the hell are we winning these games out entire team is injured Belichick and Brady are gods nobody believes in us anymore we could legitimately take on any team and even win a Super Bowl"
In other words, glass half full. Complete opposite of here
