Because we tried to unload him and couldn't get anything for him and in the end it was just waste going down the toilet.

He may have started that many games but he sure didn't finish those games. I call those mercy starts. What else?
Splitter actually score 3 important buckets to keep them close in the 4th quarter in one of those 2 last games. Don't think DJB would have been able to do that under the rim.
You Can Go After Mayo If Manu Doesnt Come Back. And Manu Is Coming Back. Sorry Hold The Mayo. By The Way If Tiago Would Have Played Game 6 And 7 He Probably Would Have made That Free Throw Kawhi Missed In Game 6 Or Made That PutbacK Timmy Missed In Game 7. Sorry Tiago Is Not The Goat Here. And Whos Going To Handle Gasol and Howard Next Season. Diaw? Baynes? Bahahaha!

Youll Be Missing Him When Timmy Runs Out Of Gas.Tiagos Worth 8 Mill Per. You Not Going To Get A Big Better Than Him For 5 Mill Per. WAFJ. Your Going To Have To Spend 12 Mil Or More Per For What Your Asking For. And We Do Need A Big DoNt We? AWell.nd That Person Needs To Know The System well.
Sorry But That Dude Isnt Worth What He's Asking For. Long Term And And 10 Mil? Hell no.
I would not throw away Tiago and a few other spurs just too see this dude walk at the end of the season for a lot more money than we could give him and end up seeing him in LA or Boston later.
And yes the chemistry would change. Does he do the things Tiago does like create shots for others with his screens throughout the entire game? I doubt it. And now Im hearing he has an attitude problem. I wouldn't disrupt the team the way we're rolling right now. We were 2 games away from the finals last season and now Harden is gone and we are better now so I know we can beat okc this season. Besides Pop is not known to make a major change at this point of the season. It would just throw a wrench in everything they built up. I say keep this team the way it is.
If Ferry wants to give him to us for Blair, Jackson and Neal well maybe. Hands off Tiago.

@rtesoro440 And you want to get rid of somebody who's putting on performances like that? The reason he's doing well in the Olympics is because his coach knows what to do with him. He play's him! And more than 5 minutes. You still don't get it. He has more BBIQ and talent than some of the stones your turning over.

@rtesoro440 Splitter failed because Pop doesn't know what to do with Splitter when Timmy is the focus. Read this: http://airalamo.com/2012/07/12/tiago-splitter-leads-brazil-in-route-over-argentina/
Ok Elmo how about Splitter's game high 19 pts and assists and rebounds against Argentina yesterday and getting MVP for the exhibition tourney in their group. All he needs is the minutes and play to his strengths. HAHAHAHA!

@BhaktaSA It's people with two face personalities or they're just plain retarded. How quickly they forget the 9.3 ppg, 5.2 rpg, 19 mpg.
1 year, 4 months ago on Report: Spurs interested in Brazilian center Hettsheimeir | July
@BhaktaSA I guess these idiots forgot the scoring abilities Splitter showed when he played more than 15 minutes during the times Timmy sat. Add the fact that he's better than Bonner and Blair on defense. I always said this guy needs 25 minutes or more consistently and the points, rebounds, and defense will be there. Sorry people Kaman is a Mav now. Besides Splitter is more athletic than him and can set screens better than anyone in this league. The guards just need to give the ball up and you'll see the points pile up inside. Splitter has the best footwork on the team as well. And if they disagree they haven't been listening to Sean or watching games all season long. Splitter isn't going anywhere.
@ajd21 You're right about skipping teams just to get playing time. Even though he's young according to himself in his interviews he needed to get some burn somehow someway in order to get Pop's attention and brought over here because he felt he didn't wan to be forgotten in Europe. This guy is all hustle and discipline and is perfect for Pop to mold. I am excited as well to see him here. He's got crazy ball handling skills, shooting skills from any spot on the court and pretty athletic. For his sake I just hope he gets in the mix down low and get his rebounds and defends the rim. That's what's going to land him here either in the Toros or possibly in the sover and Black. It's a long shot but even the Toros at this point would be better than wasting his time in Europe where he's been.
1 year, 4 months ago on Spurs Summer League squad features Leonard, Anderson and Ryan Richards | July
@russman138 Yes Kaman has been left standing without a team. He wants out and now the Spurs may be his only choice. I'll take him over 38 year old Camby any day. A big body is a big body plus he can shoot and can block shots around the rim. May not have the athleticism we are looking for but he's good enough for what we need and can afford besides beggers can't be choosers. Add Randolph and do away with Bonner and Blair. Timmy, Splitter, Kaman, and Randolph. Tall and better than last seasons front court. As for DeColo a very good passer and hopefully he gets acclimated to NBA speed and style of play by the all-star break next season. Bring Richards in to play with the Toros for a whole season and if he sucks dump him but if he doesn't then he can contribute in Timmy's last year with the spurs.
1 year, 5 months ago on De Colo discusses recent visit with the Spurs | July
@WOW @ajd21 Exactly my point Wow. Nash is a better facilitator than Parker and even Tiago could double his scoring output if Nash was handling the ball. Some people have a mental block on this forum and think they know everything.
1 year, 5 months ago on Ginobili's 33-points too much for Splitter, Brazil in pre-Olympic match | July
@ajd21 You fuckin moron you were probably one of those idiots wanting Varejao on this team before he got hurt when trade talks were being thrown around. Wishy washy bastard. You are a typical off on bandwagoner who doesn't know shit about basketball. You must have many uses for tampons for bringing that up. Go play with your XBox nit wit.
@nish21 Kaman has no where else to go and he wants to go somewhere. His situation might be in the Spurs favor. I don't like Boris he is too undersized as well. You want more of that in the playoffs next season going into the western Conference finals? I don't and I'll pass on Diaw.
1 year, 5 months ago on Repot: Lorbek re-signing with Regal Barcelona | July
@dcarlock Dude Rasho played well enough to give Timmy help and earn his ring. I saw it all.
@ajd21 An older Tim Duncan with adequate rest can abuse many bigs out there still. Lorbek is done forever with the Spurs now. That's ok. Now Bonner or Blair or both will be packing their bags for sure. I'' still take Kaman over 38 year old Camby. If we can get Randolph very cheap and squeeze Kaman in as well then a front court of Timmy, Splitter, Kaman, and Randolph is way better than the the front court we had last season. Tall, Tall, Tall, Tall. Some can shoot, some have good footwork, some can block shots at the rim but they can all rebound. O'll take that any day.
