It won't be a big deal, the patent should be under FRAND, but that still sucks for other manufacturers. They will end up paying Apple for the patent, just like Apple has to pay Samsung 2.5% of total sales in the Netherlands.

Whenever Apple infringes on a patent violation they cry FRAND. Patent laws need to be changed, especially in an ever changing tech world. The patents take a long time to be processed, take Google's notification patent, they don't have it just yet so what does Apple do? They throw in a notification center, by the time Google actually receives the patent, Apple is crying FRAND,
