@John at MrSEC @gregpomeroy1 be proud of the south and who we are warts and all. the perception of the south from around the country is what it is and isnt going to change one way or the other because paul's show is available up north. i get annoyed at those who insist on keeping the crazy aunt locked in the closet. this is the south we show off all our crazy relatives.

how would saban know how good clowney is? bama doesn't play south carolina OR georgia OR florida. now if clowney played at tennessee or kentucky he might be able to speak to the topic.

@John at MrSEC @AndrewMartin you can take your statistics and cram them down your throat. the only statistic that matters is that in 2012 lsu played usc and florida while alabama played mizzou and ut. this year lsu will play uga and florida while alabama plays kentucky and ut. it is so unfair as to taint the sec championship.

@John at MrSEC @Mr_Travis_McGee what does alabama have to cry about? easist schedule in the league two years running. the team that least needs help gets it from the birmingham HQ.

@John at MrSEC @jhnshft i think some forget that lsu and florida were playing each other every year long before 1992 and the set up of permanent opponents. lsu and florida playing every year was already happening and had been since 1971 i think. so they played every year over 40 years now. i think the rivalry has taken by now. what lsu complains about and rightly so is alabama playing ut and mizzou last year while lsu played florida and south carolina and this fall alabama getting ut and kentucky while again lsu gets florida and georgia. plus these two years were specially made schedules and not part of some rotation that will even things up later. why did they on purpose make the schedules so different for lsu and alabama. that is a legitimate question.
i think you keep hitting on the head when you talk of fans no longer willing to pay outrageous ticket prices for the cupcakes that have just overwhelmed SEC non-conference schedules. college football is as popular as it ever has been but yet ticket sales are down. no one wants to pay to watch an SEC team play 1-AA football teams. its crazzy. go to 9 conference games or at least mandate that at least 2 of the non-conference games must be against other bcs teams.
