@Royce Young Take the criticism, but it's not a lashing. I'm glad to hear your a positive fan. Truly. I just don't get it in your writing. Really not trying to make it personal. We're all frustrated Thunder Fans btw. I've just wanted to explain why I won't be reading your blog anymore. Peace, and Keep the Faith

Royce, royce. You have such a defeated tone. It's my main critique of your writing style- of which, I was a fan. There is nothing wrong with being a neurotic fan. This city has many, which make the Thunder so special. But I'm through reading your downer blogs. There hasn't been one level of the Thunder's success that, while unbelievable, was immediately doubted by your personality. You've put some great work into covering the Thunder. However, if you don't think this team can win, then you never belonged in their locker room.
I know you're tired. We all are. These games are intense. But you and all the doubters need to have a good long thought of what it takes to win, so you can have a better understanding of what it means to Thunder Up.
Good Night and Keep the Faith
Questionable officiating, while infuriating, really is part of the game. I know it's not right, but it's certainly not absent from every playoffs I've noticed over the past 5 years. If seeing so much of it can help me wrap my head around it, I'd argue that while it impacts a game, the superior team wins the series. A team with 4 or 16 titles holds more clout in this league than the Thunder. No doubt. However, it doesn't make it right. It doesn't mean the Thunder are not the superior team.

These Western Conference Finals games have the makings to be epic. Name two teams that know each other better, play great games against each other, and have a more balanced approach to winning through mentality and execution.
My money's on the one that has overcome the most adversity to reach this point.

Thunder Alley was born with carnival games and pre-game fun.
Thunder Alley was made by the people of Oklahoma City.
Peaceful protest is the only thing that will give it back for these very special playoffs.
If you want Thunder Alley, prove to the city planners that a peaceful gathering is possible, because this decision is self-preserving & political.
When you got the time, go on down to Thunder Alley this week. Sport your gear. And tell this city to do something; rather than the city telling Thunder Fans what it can't do.
