@jallenmorris Don't forget that James Harden completely disappeared against the Heat.   I don't think he had a single decent game in the whole series.  Would have been nice if he could have knocked down 7 of 9 3-pointers. He was trolling the Thunder hard this series in these last couple of games.

Went to sleep at 10:30 and woke up at 3. Now I can't sleep and have to go into work in 3 hours.  Oops.  It's strange to think that we're all in panic mode in contrast to our expectations before the series started.  There is no denying that the Thunder, outside of Durant, has played more often like garbage than money in the last 6 quarters of game play.  But I can't forget the 1st half of game 3 where their shooting was on and the Rockets shooting was off.   That's all it takes and they have two more games to put something together that doesn't reek of amateur hour.   And keeping in mind that they almost came back to put game 4 into OT, it just seems super unlikely that we see the kind of awful shooting that was displayed in game 5.  In game 6, if they can get it together and at least show some competent basketball outside of Durant, even if we lose, I'd like our chances in a game 7.  But, obviously, we'd all rather the Thunder close out the series in 6.  Maybe I'm delusional and going on too little sleep, but I'm still looking forward to seeing what the Thunder bring tonight.  Have we ever seen Martin go 1 of 10 shooting before, or the team go 8 of 33 from 3-point land?  In my mind it just doesn't seem possible that it could happen two games in a row.  But, I'll probably be eating crow tomorrow night while crying myself to sleep.  I also wonder if Brooks will finally significantly limit Perkins' minutes in the first half.  Time to try and get a couple hours of sleep before work...

@cfountain @PerkDunk I agree that Martin has been in a slump, but last game the whole team was in a slump that second half, even Durant.  Not sure what was going on, but nobody could finish and it was painful to watch.

Seems a lot of sites are reporting Durant's attempt to steal the ball from Lin as exactly the same thing as what Beverly did to Westbrook.  Hardly...  Lin dribbled the ball away from the sideline and was facing the hoop.  Also, his coach wasn't already walking onto the court.   And you can't just stand around with the ball in the nba and expect people to sit around and watch.  Lin was really slow to motion for a time-out unlike Westbrook sprinting to the sideline pointing a finger.  The only reason it's big news it because Lin is injured.  Well if he's hurt that bad, he shouldn't even be in the game.  These media people are idiots.

@OKC035  Seriously, at the end of the first half i felt like the refs basically robbed the Thunder 5 points.  A weak offensive foul on Westbrook that would have been an "and one."   An illegal screen call that negated Durant's bucket.  There was the out of bounds call that was clearly off Beverly's knee and they gave the ball to Houston.

@Keith00 This is my thinking.  Sure, Perkins is a big guy, but rebounding is not his specialty.  That makes the whole bigs argument kind of moot.

@Tequila or Failure I know that feel, bro.  I'm still uber depressed myself.  Of the three games we've lost, last night felt like the first one where we legitimately failed.  The calls were still going for the Heat, but it wasn't nearly as bad as the previous two nights.  And players flat out quit in the fourth.  Westbrook should have gone for 50.  I was hoping that he would just drive the lane every possession.  He could have done it too.

@LPCes99 I really expected that to happen tonight, but I was wrong.  I don't expect anything to change until the NBA has given LeBron his ring.

Did anyone like the Heat's pregame pep talk?  All I heard was, "It's all about us." Where is karma when you need it?

So bummed right now.  Why did Brooks leave both Harden and Thabo in late in the fourth quarter.  It was obvious they weren't contributing on offense and Brooks refused to change the line up.  Agreed with the comment on Collison.  He was huge during the minutes he played, and we never went back to him.  What the heck?  Westbrook is my hero.  I wanted him to take every shot tonight.  I don't even know why he let anyone else touch the ball, especially in the fourth.  No one could stop his drive to the rim.  He should have kept driving and gone for 50.  Why did no one try and take advantage of LeBron's cramping?  Anyone else see Bosh holding ibaka, which kept Ibaka from blocking that layup by I think Chalmers?  No foul.  Same story.  These refs are homers. I also found it humorous how LeBron could walk onto the court and play ball, but then kept having to have teammates help him walk 10 steps to get off the court. The media was drooling over LeBron playing through pain.  Please.

Call me a stereotypical fan who complains about poor officiating, but I dont even feel like watching another game if refs are going to take our star player out of the game.  No point.  Might as well just bend over.  We were about to put the game out of contention.  Refs stepped in and said. "nope."  The phantom and ones with Wade.  Not calling LeBron on Durant's potential game tying shot in Game 2 and then calling Harden for getting bumped out of the way by Lebron to rob the Thunder of a chance to tie or win.  Sure, we lost because our free throw shooting was awful, but that's doesn't take the refs off the hook. From my perspective, the only part of the game where the Thunder messed up was with Brooks taking Westbrook out of the game after Durant got his 4th.  Watching Harden repeatedly turn over the ball and not make his shots was painful.  But the refs straight up took the Thunder out of this one in my opinion.  There is only so much you can put up with before your will to play is broken.

So what's the story with Westbrook's hand or finger?  Is he injured?  I thought he was taking good shots last night, and normally he makes most of those shots.  You know it's bad when he's missing his layups.

@FSUThunderFan This is true.  I just fear the thought of losing one of the first two games at home.  Puts the team in a really awkward position.

@SammyThunderer Yep. I've been very impressed with the whole team.  It seems like everyone has stepped up their game.  It's going to be downright scary if we ever see a game where Westbrook, Durant, and Harden are all on fire at the same time.  It's bound to happen sooner or later.

On the radio yesterday someone was talking about how the truly great players find a way to contribute and get their game going when they are struggling.  Westbrook and Durant have both demonstrated that quality time and time again.  It is amazing and something a lot of the public somehow miss.
