@Tvaddic he got slapped in the face lol
Butler for... nothing.
@Matt32 seems like the thunder haven't even attempted an offensive rebound. no one is ever there

I was listening to 107.7 on the way home from the game last night. I just switch between that and the Sports Animal depending on whichever one is not in the middle of commercials. Someone had a good point about how a lot of critics get on to the Thunder for not playing a traditional game of basketball with both Westbrook and Durant, which is dumb. But I especially liked when they said it would just be detrimental to try and change anything about the way Westbrook plays basketball. Just let him do his thing and Charles Barkley needs to calm down and eat some cake, instead.

@dollarbillrussell @[brooks' fault] @exclamatory remark basically 90 minutes away. It would be longer without the turnpike where you can do 80 the whole way with minimal stopping and no stopping with a pike pass.
7 months, 2 weeks ago on Thunder put down the Grizzlies to move on, 120-109
@Labambo Westbrook was in straight up beast mode last night. It was incredible. Durant was making shots like it was a video game. You know they are both loving having Butler right now. He takes a huge burden off of trying to create shots by opening up the lanes a bit. Unlike K-Mart...
What are people predicting this series? I think if LA wins the series, it will take all 7 games. If the Thunder win it, they could do it in 4 or 5, and more likely 6.
@Old Man Game @dollarbillrussell A lot of the 1st quarter points came from horrible turnovers which didn't have as much to do with our defense.
@El Prez @DJ_Yardman @OSU EE People hate Beverley because he injured Westbrook on a reckless play. And then he showed he wasn't above potentially injuring Westbrook again on the exact same type of play after Westbrook healed. It has nothing to do with whether or not Beverley is a skilled basketball player or whether both he and Adams play with the same kind of intensity. Until Adams injures someone because of his play, they are not the same kind of player.

@okcjim The only problem is that it shouldn't come down to an elimination game for Brooks to finally make changes. What that tells me is that he had no other choice. A good coach would have made the changes seen last night long before game 6, and not in desperation. He's the most stubborn coach in the NBA and gets away with it because he has some amazing talent on the team. That unreliable article by the Oklahoman should have been geared toward Brooks, not Durant.

Can't believe the refs let Conley mug Westbrook for the steal just before regulation and then, if that wasn't enough, they let Gasol mug Jackson, so that Conley could take a last second shot for the potential win. Lame.
these refs are unbelievable
@Tvaddic I'd argue the only reason they lost tonight was because of Blake getting into foul trouble early.
8 months ago on Thunder ambush the Grizzlies early, but have to hang on for Game 1
The Westbrook Show was fantastic tonight. Loved every second. And Serge is a beast. I enjoyed Harden's talent, but Ibaka is a defensive monster who is actually quite good at knocking down shots. On a similar note, what's the thinking on Butler? I loved his tenacity tonight. At one point I felt like he was the only one trying to spark the team out of their slump in the third. But as one friend mentioned to me after the game, his defense could hurt as much as his offense helps. For me though, I'd take Butler over Martin any day of the week.
@neo12 @Tvaddic Seemed like there was a lot of isolation and standing around. Shots coming within 1 or 2 seconds of the shot clock tonight.

Was that harden that westbrook hugged after the game?
@AlexR44 @ILovetheWestbrookShow eh I can't argue with KD, but I'm sure Fisher's presence is nice to have around, at least for keeping a level head through the good and bad - not really much bad lol.
8 months, 2 weeks ago on Tuesday Bolts – 4.8.14
I know Im LTTP, but this was nice of Fisher: http://www.derekfisher6.com/2014/04/08/kd-mvp/ I wonder how much it's helped Durant having Fisher there as a mentor over the past couple of years.

@Jennertalia @D@nny Ha i was just going to post on here how things are really starting to feel like this could be the year. It's scary to talk about, because you don't want to jinx anything, but dang! If Westbrook and Durant can be healthy for the playoffs, no one is gonna want to play the Thunder in a series.
@king of carrot flowers Lamb, alone, is better than kmart. Let's just be honest here.

@Legendary_Dork I support this. Is it really going to hurt just to try one time? Can't hurt anything.

@Perk-Punt I don't know if Lamb is going to gain that much more weight. The upside is that Durant seems to do fine with his frame.

Everyone started playing badly. I'm just saying it started with crwaford.
11 months, 3 weeks ago on Blazers vs. Thunder: Pregame Primer
You can pinpoint with a microscope exactly when the thunder went cold. Joey Crawford ' s horrible non shooting foulcall where durant's basket didn't count, immediately followed by not counting durant' s 3 pointer. sure the thunder should be able to play through that garbage but Crawford took everything out of the thunder with his pathetic oompaloompa calls. Total horse crap.
Martin can loft 3 ' s and occasionally attack the rim. That doesn't make him better than Jackson who can create, defend, and get to the rim. And Jackson is young. You don't think Jackson can average 20 points as a starter? That's crazy talk.
11 months, 3 weeks ago on Monday Bolts – 12.30.13

11 months, 3 weeks ago on Durant cooks as OKC smashes the Rockets, 117-86
Can I like this a million times please?
Eh I was just asking.
11 months, 3 weeks ago on Westbrook-less Thunder hold on in Charlotte, 89-85
Part of me thinks keeping Reggie with the second team would be better. Is there anyone that could run point besides Jackson with the ability to run plays, drive to the rim and also pass? I wonder if Roberson could handle point and what that would be like. Or move Durant to point, replaced by Jones/Roberson just to see. Durant can distribute as good as anyone and make his own shots when needed. He loves taking the ball down the court. And we need people like Ibaka to get open looks. Is that crazy? In the playoffs last year, Durant was amazing, but no one else could make shots. Teams just doubled him up the whole time. But this year, our young players are making shots and doing all sorts of things that the team never did in the playoffs with just K-Mart and Sef last season.
I'll be the first to admit that I know very little about rotations and positions. I'd make a horrible coach.
@claeys why hasn't someone hit Beverley with a baseball bat yet? He will be the downfall of one of the top teams in the NBA, a team who has had a legitimate shot at winning it all, two seasons in a row. That's just wrong. And if Westbrook never regains his pre-injury form, I might stop watching basketball permanently. Westbrook is easily my favorite player, ever, of all time :(
11 months, 3 weeks ago on Five thoughts about Russell Westbrook’s looming absence
I love how the Thunder have a talented pair in Jackson and Lamb. But, if either are struggling, there is always Jones ready to be inserted into the game, too. The bench is as about as solid as any bench in the league.
1 year ago on Player Power Rankings: Kevin Durant is pretty good
@[corporate shill] @Bryson Obviously you have no idea what you're talking about. Orlando is one of the worst teams in the NBA. Brooks almost coached himself a loss tonight like he's done hundreds of times before. So many games last season the Thunder won in spite of bad coaching. Most coaches could do as well or better with players like KD and Westbrook on the floor. You're like a BCS voter who only looks at a final score and never actually sees how the game got to that score.
You do know that it's okay to criticize a coach for bad coaching, right? Doesn't mean that people are going to start rioting and setting things on fire.
