Great post. So in your opinion, what are the key factors for a content company to get that ten-figure valuation? In other words, what will you do differently to make your content company even bigger this time? Thanks.
I love PandoDaily but the new design is almost unusable on my 13" MBP. With the static navigation, I can only browse blog posts within less than 50% of the screen real estate on the homepage. When I see the pictures, then I can't see the blog titles. And the zero margin between the hero unit and the ticker side bar is just too hard on the eye. I hope the design of this site can catch up with the high quality content someday in the future.
No offense but Weixin's "Find Friends Nearby" feature is actually copying LINE by Naver Japan. LINE's users in HK/TW/JP/Korea has been using this feature long before Weixin adopted it. But I agree that Chinese startup's innovation is often unrecognized by the public.
