@WBBsAs (Larry Bowa Anger Management Training) If he comes back healthy, fantastic pickup for them.  And on a sidenote that Wil Myers - wowzer.  Poor, poor Royals fans.  There are no words.

Who do you think is leading the NL MVP race as of this moment?  For me, it's between McCutchen and Molina right now.. and I guess I would vote for McCutchen.  Close one though.  Too many games missed for Hanley's bat to make up it seems, but you never know!

Having lost 3 of 4, and now facing the Cardinals for 5, I wonder if Pirates fans have just started to feel those first pangs of uneasiness in their stomachs

@PF (Puig Fan) Flyers and to clarify, its not a whole "frozen beer", just the foam is frozen, and applied on top of the beer, to keep it cold

@PF (Puig Fan) Flyers havent tried, but heard it does in fact keep the beer nice and cold, if you wanna start sippin right away however,  its a bit cumbersome to break thru the foam

@moneynow27  @Catfishin Knowing how much it means to Kemp, he has got to be like a racehorse dying to fly out of the box right now.. I'm visualizing some wonderful moments involving Matty come the stretch run

@PUIG DESTROYER (Gilbert) I like him, but worth giving up nice prospects for?? especially considering Ellis has been coming on of late, does a solid job for us.. and not to mention the Alexander Guerrero rumors..

With Mattingly, I accept the bi-nightly (or so) bad bunt/double switch because with him you have a manager who the players are going to listen to and respect the hell out of, and conversely, is going to treat them with equal respect, unless there's a valid reason to call someone out (a la Ethier last month).  In an ideal world, yes, we'd have a manager who was a wizard of  in-game management as well as a fantastic leader of the clubhouse, but like Mike said, I think in our situation and with our roster we should be glad with what Donnie Baseball brings to this team... whatever is happening right now is magical.  And I just wanna add that in terms of chemistry, these group of players have been simply delightful, not even when we were at our lowest were any frustrations vented towards fellow teammates.  I love it.  Those photos from yesterday of Puig and Ryu epitomize it all!  GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
