Forgot to mention Lost Abbey. Another popular one. I think it's in San Marcos though.
Heard Alesmith and Port Brewing are popular ones to visit. If you want to go out of your way Alpine has some of the best IPA's you will ever drink, that's including the Sculpin at Ballast Point.
@Deuces Wild Agreed, nothing is worse than the smug Newport Beach Angel fan
Just saw they were looking for Worley and 2 prospects. Does that equate to Cap, Dee, and 2 prospects?
So what is Cleveland looking for in return for Asdrubal? Could we be a suitor and push Hanley back to 3B?
@capnsparrow @Disgruntled Goat or Simers
I don't really understand the argument a lot of people have that if Ellis hadn't gone for 3, he would've scored on Victorino's triple. I'm not arguing that his decision to go for third was dumb, but how can you guarantee that Victorino would have gotten the same pitch sequence or would not have felt the effects added pressure? Sure, it would have increased our chances to score with more outs to spare, but you have to look at it both ways. Given Victorino's track record of letting us down, Shane probably would have struck out or grounded out weakly to the right side. Same result either way. Anyways, just something to help with the madness of last night's game that still might be haunting us.
@Dirtbag_Blues guarantee we'll see him playing in left for the giants next year tearing us apart
After watching this game, it became pretty blatant that Victorino has no business batting leadoff. The guy has no patience at the plate. We all know Donnie won't bat AJ leadoff, but the lineup on Saturday with Mellis and Cruz batting 1-2 doesn't seem like a bad combo. Dropping Shane down to 7 or 8 would seem to eliminate the black whole at the top of the lineup.
I don't know if this was already discussed, but what kind of money would be owed to Mike Fontenot if he was picked up? He would seem like a far superior option to Adam Kennedy off the bench.
This is totally unrelated, but yesterday afternoon, I am 90% positive I saw Kim Ng driving a white Prius in my West LA community of Playa Vista. On the back of her car was a Jack in the Box Dodgers Antenna Ball. Only so many women look like Kim Ng. Thought it was interesting as I thought she was now in NY.
I'm not as worried as I was when the team got swept by the Brewers and then proceeded to lose the series in Coors because the team then showed the ability to miraculously bounce back in Philly. However, if we show no life returning to SoCal against the Angels, we could be looking at 2 sweeps in a row going into SF.
@EephusBlue @SCruzDodgers @bluedude36 You're right, this is why I can't have good things.
Anyone getting that dreadful feeling that our season is going to end like the way we ended the '08 Cubs' season?
