I really don't understand all this talk about firing Scott Brooks. He has done incredible things in a very short time, he understands the culture of the team and of our city and I don't want the media hogging egos of a Van Gundy or Jackson, thank you very much. Give him some time to take this team to the next logical step. Really!!!

I'm so proud of this team and all that they stand for. And thank you Royce for such a wonderful site--this was my first stop every morning to read your persepctive, your enthusiasm and your heart. You captured each moment for us in an amazing way. I know we have tweaks and adjustments but I can't wait to see what Brooks and the boys can put together for next year. They are our team and they went to the Finals in their 4th year! Thunder Proud

I am just as freaked/heartsick/excited as the next fan about the Thunder, the players, the coach and this magical season. I have lived and died by every play, every no call, every mistake. I am doing all my voodoo to be sure they win tonight. BUT, if they don't, we have to remember we are just 4 years removed from the basement, we are in a place where all but 2 of all the NBA teams would love to be, we have an amazing group of YOUNG players who will only get better. So, at the end of the day (thanks Perk) I have to say Thanks Thunder for an incredible season and for making our city proud. Win tonight!!

So we should steal the show stopping song from the Broadway show "The Book of Mormon" called "I Believe" and play it over and over again all day until 8:00 tonight?? Give us something to do rather than read yet another analysis and chew on pens and fingernails. Once again, I will be away from the TV for the 1st half watching a grandson play baseball. This worked out very well last week when we closed out the Spurs, so I'm trying it again.

@ThunderStruck2412 Thank you so much for the even handed observations about the Seattle fans. Are we still hating Utah because they took a team from New Orleans? Do we call the Colts the Zombies because they once resided in Baltimore? I feel for the people of Seattle, but Clay Bennett did not sneak in with trucks in the middle of the night. They had an opportunity and chose not to take it. So be it. I'm really really tired of this sudden (again) vitriol from Seattle urging everyone to cheer for the Heat. Really????

So, I've been out of town for the last 3 games. For the final game against Dallas I was in Canada and could only find hockey on any sports channel. The first 2 against LA I've been in hotels without the right channels (!). . .so my husband now believes that I should leave town for every game since they seem to be doing very well when I'm not watching. He told me that Scott Brooks personally called and asked when I was leaving again. Unfortunately, I'm not leaving until Sunday--hopefully I'm not really that much of a curse!
