Of course they're testing the next iPhone, just as I am sure that Samsung is testing the next Galaxy S device and the next Galaxy Note device, and Motorola is testing the next Razr models, and HTC is testing the successor to the One series. Just because people are finding logs saying that iOS 7 and iPhone 6,1 has accessed the app doesn't mean that a release is coming soon.
I think that the voice quality has more to do with the face that Sprint is deploying "HD" calling across its network as it's "deploying Network Vision".
Well, I guess that this pretty much makes up my mind on weather or not I stay with Sprint. I want to go up the ladder of top US carriers, but I cannot afford At&t or Verizon, so I guess that I might just go down to T-Mo. I hope that more info about this comes out to the public sometime within the next 4-6 months.
I see more differences than similarities between the two.
As of right now, I'm sticking with my phone, carrier, and plan. I have the Evo Shift on Sprint with Everything Data plan. In the future I'm looking at possibly going to the Evo 4G LTE, GS3, or Note 2 (if and when it does come to Sprint) and staying with my Everything Data plan.
It might be safe to say that with a possible slight redesign of the iPhone that there might also be a slight redesign of the iPod Touch. Seeing as how the iPod Tough is practically the same as the iPhone just without the phone part.
I guess that if you cannot get the device locked on your network, or don't want to pay the millions, if not billions, to have it on your network, then there is always the option of refarming your network to support the higher data speeds of the device and support unlocked devices. I would think that T-Mo and Apple would come to some kind of agreement to sell unlocked iPhones in T-Mo stores and to offer T-Mo service on unlocked devices through Apple retail locations.
Have you considered that it might be a device that is made to look like the iPhone but is running Android?
I don't see why Apple doesn't go after these people. These lesser known manufacturers are making exact copies of the iPhone and get a way with it, but when there is a device made by a larger know manufacturer that has little to no resemblance to the iPhone, aside from a few questionable patents, Apple tries to get the device banned and get millions if not billions form the company.
I wouldn't be too surprised if Verizon's Galaxy Nexus is updated sooner than later. It is a variant of the device that is part of an injunction that has found the device has "infringed" on some of "Apple's" patents, and an update could/should fix that.
@BrockAllen I agree with Apple paying/bribing people to get its way. Things really seem to have gone down hill since Steve Jobs resigned/passed away.
@Jacob2kD Actually, no, Google cannot sue Apple for "coping" the drop-down notification bar. Android is a "free & open-source" software and anyone can do anything with/to it that they wish to do.
I'm soo frustrated at Apple as of lately that all I have to say is that they should stop suing device manufacturers and should sue Google and that they should just accept the fact that there is competition in the smartphone arena now. I sooooo hope that Motorola gets Ian injunction against the iPhone & iPad.
I change my though to:
I think that any device with at least 1GB RAM that has gotten, or would get, ICS should get JB. And those devices that have at least 1GB RAM, which haven't gotten ICS yet, should skip ICS and go straight to JB.

At least they won't gave to buy an iPhone for $400-$800 and have to pay an additional $50-$100 to have it flashed to Cricket. I knew that once the iPhone started coming to the smaller companies that it would only be a matter of time for it to come to Cricket.
I think that the ICS update for the US variants of the GS2 might not come until after the GS3 is stateside.
Um...just because there isn't an LED flash doesn't mean that there wont be one when the next iPhone comes out. As for the next iPod Touch having a larger screen, I wouldn't put it past Apple to increase the size of it because the iPod Touch is basically just an iPhone without the cellular radios. I also kinda want to agree with another rumor I read awhile back about Apple ending production of the iPod Touch and bringing in a smaller iPad, mainly because an iPad is an iPod Touch with a much larger screen.
Also, I would see Samsung putting in their new Exynos 5 Dual processor (Cortex A-15 based with 32nm and clock speed of up to 2GHz) in the US/LTE version of the GS3, but not the S4. Other wise why would they make it if they were not going to be using it?
The main reasoning that I've heard/read for why Verizon didn't get the GS2 is because they wanted the Galaxy Nexus for an exclusive period of time.
