@Buster_Himen its more of the technology behind the shoes that justify the price.
thats ONLY if you're purchasing them from a NikeTown store. Since there isnt a NikeTown store in every state/city you should probably check with local shoe spot to see how their releasing theirs. I get all my kicks from footlocker house of hoops by my house and never had an issue...but i also know 1/2 the employees and manager of the store...
i have the playoffs and cool grey 12's so its an easy pass for me
@THEYoussefI trying a shoe on and wearing it for a day is completely different. picked up the taxi's and i love em...they'l never see the bball court because if the price tag. but like jay said compared to my foams which retail for 220 the quality is far more superior and worth it..if you have the money the money to spend on these.
only j's i rock are retro's not these hybrid sh*ts
im sticking with the lebron 9 miami vices..at least i dont have to worry about dying over them as oppose to these.
@DrYuhmudder @joel @mushroomphysics its all about supply and demand. if the foams were massed produced and only cost $120 like the diamond turfs they would be doing the same thing as the turfs now..sitting on a shelf. nike knows what they're doing..the more limited the product the highter they can jack up the price...and a famous person name to the shoe and all sudden your looking at dropping serious cash for one pair of kicks.

i like foams but im not a HUGE fan of them but i'd definitely cop these just hope they dont release the same day as the raptors
