@Haloruler64 Have emailed you - thanks so much. :-)
It's more like T-MOBILE finally decides to update the One S, not HTC, considering most other versions were updated months ago already.
I dropped my One S from about five feet and it slid across the floor face down...had a TPU case and screen protector on it, and fortunately not a scratch. I need a screen protector for my new One, it is coming next week.
Isn't the Snapdragon 600 quad core Qualcomm? That's what's used for the HTC One and it definitely will have LTE .
That's supposed to say WP8 phones are supposedly *selling* at 4x the rate 7/7.5 was.
I wouldn't be so sure that the 8X isn't also contributing to that rise, it's a very nice phone - have been giving it a whirl and it does have me seriously thinking about forsaking Android and using it permanently. Also the the WP8 phones are supposedly 4x the rate 7/7.5 was.
2.18 billion in net income not looking good? 99.9999% of companies out there would love to look that bad...
@Haloruler64 Yes, I saw that it was out and I went to my settings --->About--->Software Updates and made it appear.
It definitely does give the option to remap the Multitasking button to a Menu button (and gets rid of the ugly black bar with the 3 dots), but it is not showing the quick settings in the notification shade...looks the same as always, and I'm not finding any toggle for it in Settings.
But, HTC is the only one besides Apple that saw a little growth, the others' shares declined.
The $300 is for the iPhone 4S 64GB. Just for comparison, the AT&T One X is $175.
Hope that a similar update is coming soon to the One S too.
I am all about Android on my phone, but the only real tablet to tempt me thus far (Android or iOS) is the Transformer Prime. But even then, it still doesn't tick off all the boxes for me to make it a real replacement for a laptop/ultraportable/netbook for when I need access to work stuff while on the road. The Surface, at least on the surface (lol), is! It checks off pretty much every box I need in order to make the move. I will be watching it very closely, and clearing off the credit card in preparation... ;)
Wondering why they would not participate? Does not including it save them money? Thought that would be on Samsung?
I'm going to be different and say three of the five will be (ph)(t)ablets - a 10" tablet, a 7" one, a phablet like the Note, and then a 4.6-4.8" smartphone and a 4-4.3" smartphone. And one or more of these will have a keyboard dock.
Biggest thing that jumps out at me is that the OG Motorola Cliq (MB200) shows up as large as it does on this chart...
