I never leave home without it. This is truly a portable device, my first requirement in a tablet and at an affordable price, which was not only my second requirement, but my other concern until now. What I have found is not only does the Nexus 7 tick all these boxes but is a device with top spec features too with no compromises as far a quality is concerned. I liked it so much I bought my daughter one too ( she can't put it down either)
I like the Asus approach, basically stock with a few choice widgets only and not an intrusive UI such as Touchwiz and HTC's Sense' I like a few of the features that Touchwiz offer nut I personally would like a choice as to not use them if I so required. As the OP stated Jelly Bean in is own right is such a beautiful OS, could going stock really be such a bad thing?
A great phone but with a 6 month old Galaxy Nexus I cannot justify the change, but otherwise yes I would.
@Des some people and most likely some potential customers may come from smaller screen phones or non smartphone phones. The 7 inch size won't suit all but neither will the 10 inch or any other sizes. Google have no doubt done their research and if the previous requisites are to be believed $200 is easier to attain in the rumoured form factor.
