@TellMyWifeISaidHello Would love it, but Texas won't deal him. Could you imagine he and Juan Uribe? That'd be a show on SNLA all by itself.

@TellMyWifeISaidHello We actually touch on this in the podcast. It's probably worth a future article.

@foldamort Not Lee. Honestly, not really. The only one on the 40-man (not named Carlos Frias) I could see doing well is Magill, but he can't throw strikes anyway.

I was podcasting while that happened and was heating up dinner while writing the recap. Sorry it wasn't super in-depth.

@DBrim @InsideThePark (AZ Jazz Festival) Probably not. Will try to find info on him and the Italian fella they signed and have a write-up later this week.

@moneynow27 Pederson and Seager or Urias, Gordon, Anderson and one more Top 15 prospect might get the Marlins to the negotiating table. Would prefer not to deal the Top 3, but probably would if it meant getting Stanton and a reliever or bench piece.

@Tymathee @PagansOedipalComplex It's hard to start in the majors. That's why there are so few quality starting pitchers.

@capnsparrow (Actual top vote getter for POY) Definitely not a lock, but it'd be nice to see him against some of the better prospects in baseball. Would be a chance to stretch him out a little, instead of having to do it in instrux.

@PagansOedipalComplex It's accurate. If he even has fringe-average command, he'll be a starter. If not, he's a power reliever. Better than the report Shah wrote earlier this year at Baseball Prospectus.

AFL rosters to be announced today. Dodgers sent these guys last year: Pedro Baez, Brian Cavazos-Galvez, Onelki Garica, Yimi Garcia, Jarret Martin, Pratt Maynard, Chris O'Brien, Corey Seager, Michael Thomas.

My predictions for this year: Ralston Cash, Daniel Coulombe, Noel Cuevas, O'Koyea Dickson, Scott Schebler, Matt Shelton, Blake Smith, Julio Urias.

I wanted to put Arruebarrena on this list, but there can only be one "foreign" player. Plus, EA is far more likely to play winter ball before Urias. Also, EA could be on the postseason roster. AFL season starts Oct. 7 and each team has to send a minimum of six players.

Uh oh. I kinda did that for my Hardball Times piece (hopefully due out later this week). But it helps to show what a good GM Dave Dombrowski has been when it comes to big trades.
