@sineman11 4.6" screen like the nexus, and super amoled plus wouldve made this tolerable, especially if you can get stock android 4.0 after root
@sineman11 @JoshuaTewell that would be like a little kid putting on cartoon-inspired blow up muscles on his arms expecting people to truly believe they are real, as well as expecting them to actually work. 2 gb of ram isnt progression, its just paper for the spec junkies.
@JakeGregory get a galaxy nexus 2. your ETF will be cheaper by that time (later this year) and the phone will likely be far less of a dissapoiintment. even the current galaxy nexus is better than this
@Psycorp plus display wouldve been nice, as would a closer to stock android version of touchwiz, but 2 gb of ram wouldnt have done shit besides piss me off (i hate when spec junkies fawn over shit that doesnt matter, including those who say the at&t one x sucks because its only dual core) other than that yeah enjoy your phone. a bit on the ugly side for my tastes but have fun
@TomUK @Schnootzi one x sucks. sense 4 is backwards from ics. galaxy s3 wasnt even impressive on paper, let alone in the final package. neither phone is particularly good, and the nexus is by far the best android phone ever, only one id ever buy (iphone user)
@sineman11 no gs2 sucks but its true that the galaxy nexus with pentile looks fine due to 720p. not saying the whole phone sucks, or the screen overall sucks, but the low resolution is way worse than you make it out to be. my iphone screen is way too small but that doesnt make low resolution screen grabs on your phone any more acceptable. my next phone will have a bigger high res display
@BigRed75 i have 20/13 vision, and i agree you cant see pixels on a galaxy nexus. however, the 4.8" gs3 has a lower dpi and definitely will show pixels with ease. if they had made it the same 4.6" screen as the nexus, the device couldve been smaller, still have a massive screen, and have better pixel density. i still think pentile needs to go away but samsung said that the extra blue pixels in super amoled plus degrade faster which is why they went with pentile. a 4.6" screen wouldve made that a non issue. instead, they give us this shit.
