Hi, Beth! Thank you for writing this post! I think the Green-Eyed Monster is something that we all encounter from time to time. Your transparency gives permission for the rest of us to own it, too. I so love Ann Lamott's prayers . . . "Whatever" and "Oh, well!" They say it all, don't they?!
I also love that you reference Covey's work. I discovered him in the 1980's and, now that you mention it, I suspect that that is where I, too, started out "baking" rather than just "eating."
It must be the week of the Green-Eyed Monster as I just had Ann Stonebraker write a guest post on my blog about practice envy! (You can find it here at http://www.AllThingsPrivatePractice.com if you want to read it.) Ann was engaging with a commenter on her guest post when she referenced your post here. I'm so happy to find your blog and look forward to following you, Beth!
Blessings to you on your journey!
