Depends on the state of the car. If the car is not exactly a looker to begin with, fix everything up mechanically and do all the performance first. Then do the bodywork. If the bodywork is clean to begin with and it wouldn't take much more to get the exterior "finished" finish the body first then the performance.
@Dirty Monkey That's what I saw when I was there. Its what happened to Kyle Mohan and a couple of other drivers if I recall. Hit the cone. Zero. Bam.
McLaren P1 hands down.
I've always thought fox bodies were ugly.. but this car is amazing. So sick.
The best article this year IMO. Of course there is an inherent advantage with such an awesome topic, but still. 80s cars are where it at.
@nzjoleeh ^Yup. The elongated combustion chamber has inherit thermodynamic inefficiencies. Two plugs help with ignition. The 787B running a 26B four rotor had 3 spark plugs.
Need.... desktops.... of that widebody vette... midship mustang... and rx-7.... Too much awesome....But really. that mustang is ridiculous.. and I thought my rx-7 was front mid engined.
any desktops of the 380sx?
That FC!! I think I saw a feature of it before on Modified magazine... I'm stoked to hear/see/read more about it!
If there is anything that shouldn't win. Its wekfest.
I'm digging the massive vents. Kinda sad that there is no more 3 series coupe, considering at first there was only the coupe. I can only hope the M "4" has a slightly more muscled look, but this is pretty good IMO.
Any desktops of that Mach 5 liviried 458. Extremely cool looking livery.
Neeeed a desktop showing the front of that Mach 40!
Desktopssssssssssss!
@Bathsalt Barry @LouisYio Its my bro David!! e30kid lmao. Tracy Represent!
@blakd Stock rotary engines have a Oil Metering Pump that pumps oil from the oilpan into the combustion chamber to keep the apex seals lube.
So rotary engines DO burn oil by design. IMO this is probably why they got a bad rep with the average consumer since not many know to check their oil as often as they should. Now burning motor oil can leave carbon deposits (on top of burning you oil lol). So a mod is to remove the Oil Metering Pump, and premix two stroke oil in the. 2 stroke oil burns cleaner, leaves less deposits and gets better coverage inside the engine than the stock oil metering pumps do.
The only thing is you have to remember to put it in. I carry a 32oz bottle and fill up about 1 oz of oil for every 2 gallons I put in my Rx-7
This is exactly how I would want a first gen RX-7. Now only if Cali didn't need smog for it..
I was there on Sunday ! WTCC is sick. USTCC was very cool too. I loved the grassroots feel to USTCC and feel they deserve more coverage.
