How am I complaining? I merely made a statement. The conversations usually up the same way once an article about "stance" is posted. Those who so adamantly defend it are the ones whose whole foot gets pricked, let alone their toes. Just look at the title....LOL!

The GPW AP1 is the Bunzou Racing/TS Factory entry. Here's one of the owner/driver Minkara webpages: http://minkara.carview.co.jp/en/smart/userid/1945605/blog

I think he co-drives the Spoon S2000 race car as well.

Too bad the Stradale/Amuse "Touge Monster" AP1 had engine trouble and couldn't post a lap time. At a previous outing at Tsukuba it did a low 59 sec.lap.

I always marvel at the methods of routing the exhaust manifold to feed the turbo on K-series powered cars. I admire the craftsmanship and dedication for a platform that even some Honda enthusiasts have turned their back on.

Others will have an opinion but in the end yours in the only one that really matters. I prefer function over form as well. Want to to fit that wider wheel/tire combo under the fenders of your track/ race car? DO IT!

Any proof that CSD or Roberuta suspensions are anywhere near the performance of KW? I never even considered the LW GTR a "lowrider", but more like a V.I.P car.

This GTR looks cool but I stopped reading after viewing the above. IMO, some things have no place on a performance oriented automobile.

@ Kenny from the Block

LOL.........is that the best reply you are able to post? Once again, your point is moot in every sense of the word! The tone of Grand Sport's post doesn't change that and it seems your just saving face . Yes, the owners of the cars pictured above are no doubt  free to mod their cars they way they choose. This still does not overrule the fact that these cars are performance-oriented vehicles that are no longer capable of that due to improper sized tires mounted on low offset wheels with suspensions fully bottomed out.

If anything, it's nothing but a trend with damn near no originality let alone functionality. Just about every car is modded with the same basic formula: no matter what the model/type of car its low offset wheels/rubber band tires tucked into the fender at a ride height that barely reveals daylight.

Same old story, just a different book.:sigh:
