I definitely plan on buying one as a daily driver when it comes out.  Just plan on giving it a healthy drop and some nice wheels.  Not gonna track it, I already have a NA Miata dedicated for that.  Things are looking good so far, I hope the engine is as good as the chassis!

Attached a pic of my track car to show some Miata love!

As a active duty person myself I definitely feel his pain.  Whenever I'm deployed or stationed like I am right now here in Korea, literally the only thing I can think about is getting back home and prepping my car so I can get some seat time at my home track (Thunderhill, which I'm dying to try the new 5 mile version!).  My car's not as legendary as a Hakosuka but it is what I'd consider a privateer time attack 1993 Mazda Miata which I've been developing over the past few years.  like the Hakosuka it doesn't have much power, but boy does it punch way above it's weight class on a road course :)

Beautiful car. I'd love to build something similar someday, maybe a Mazda Cosmo Sport in a similar fashion sorta like this picture of a model that someone built

I'm just happy to see that Lotus has kept true and still uses a traditional manual gearbox rather than a flappy paddle one.  They are becoming rarer and rarer which is the worst thing imo.

To add to my last comment, I always like a good slow mo dubstep drift video, but let me get some more of that rotary soundtrack!

In my 20 car dream garage, a TVR Sargaris would definitely be in there. To me it is one of the best looking/sounding cars ever.

@familycar @MikeDonnelly  well I'd really like to find a Mazda Cosmo and build it similar to this picture but I doubt I'd ever find one.

About damn time! I've been waiting ever so patiently for this and did not disappoint! I may have to snag myself one of these while I'm I've there, but it is my goal to find a '89 R32 GTS-T type M because everyone knows RWD is more fun

I know Sean fairly well and he's a super nice guy, also if you wanna get your hands on some rare JDM parts for your car he will hunt them down for you all for a fair price.  He's also got an insane car collection, his newest acquisition being a Hakosuka.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it to the show that day so Sean took my spot which ended up being for the best because my Miata isn't nearly as attention grabbing as his lol.

I've been following this build since it first started and is one of my favorites, Glad to see it finally got finished, it's awesome I really wish I had the skills to fabricate my own custom track car from the ground up.

Should've chosen a track where he'd been able to actually use all that horsepower, with so many turns on that track it'd probably be a good equalizer between the Pagani and say.. a Miata? lol

I have so many options for 250 miles living in Northern California, if I wanted, I could hit one of the many Circuits like Thunderhill, Sears Point, or Laguna Seca.  Or I could take an amazing mountain drive complete with gorgeous switchbacks. Maybe a trip to Lake Tahoe or San Francisco?  Or maybe a little further north into the Redwood Forest for some awesome shots.

LS series no contest as far as performance and reliability in concerned.   2nd is Small Block Chevy (SBC).  I love how universal they made SBC parts, where pretty much ANY SBC part will bolt directly to ANY SBC motor.
