Radek and Tomas played a GREAT tournament! Congratulations on winning the Davis Cup! Spain had a very good team of players, just did not work for them in this tournament.............Yay Radek and Tomas!

The final match between Nole and Roger was so close; they both played very good tennis and it was fun to watch. Got to give Nole credit for hanging in for the win; it will be fun to watch the 2013 tennis season.........lots of talent and I do not think one player will dominate.
I am pretty sure Tomic will grow up one of these days, but right now he is pretty impressed with himself. Attitude adjustment anyone,.............20 is very young........wonder who he has as a role model.

@Common Sense Hello! You are the one that is very annoying........if anyone does not take your posts (can you say ego?) to heart and if anyone disagrees with you, you COMMON SENSE are the one that acts VERY silly. People do have a life and it does envolve reading every web site.

I hope the media justs let this matter rest. Since Roger's life has revolved around being a great tennis player and a nice person, I do hope someone is just making these threats for the drama effect.........also glad that Mirka and the girls are staying home. We all know there are some truly strange people in this world!
Watched both of these matches, the finals were pretty boring! Vika and Nole probably liked the way the way the matches played out.........did like the way Nole danced during the trophy presentation!
Nishikori played a very good tournament..........congratulations to him! the only thing that anyone seems to be getting out this news story.........."Corona beer or beer period"! People never cease to amaze me. :)
@Common Sense Do you Not have a life or do you just live to read what the press wants us all to know about Roger or any player for that matter and what we do get to read or hear is just what the press want us to KNOW! Press releases are pretty FLAKY!

Way to many crazy people in this world; and the sad thing is that even when Roger leaves Shanghai that worry will stay with him. Security do your job, we do not need any extra drama!

Safina does make a good point; Serena does pick her tournaments. I know Serena is an execellent player and her "trophy room" is full to prove that fact, but you do not see her at the small tournaments unless it a way for her to work on her game before a Grand Slam. I have no idea how many tournaments Serena played this year, but I am sure someone will be happy to tell me. Caro is good example of lots of tournamens and that kept her at #1 for lots of months, Something tells me Serena could care less about rankings.

It amazing what a little three paragraph news statement can turn into! Alot of interesting posts, but "speakthetruth" you are so full of yourself; do not know why anyone else bothered to put in their "two-cents" worth. Serena's tennis year has been great, but she will not always be at the top of her game. Lots of new tennis talent showing up.........good for the WTA.
I just like tennis and I do think that Vika will beat Serena again..........please note that Serena did not win by a GREAT BIG MARGIN at USO. Whether she has to flu or not, she really only plays when she want to. Vika has also had to miss tournaments because of health problems, but like any good player you always want to play the best and right now that would be Serena.
