I talk a lot about sneakers. I really feel Hip-Hop is my ethnicity. I love Toronto
I think the slight silhouette change to the front of the collar and the larger heel pad lend to a more modern look. They look less "chunky" than the o.g.'s over all. The slight change in cut on the toebox probably lends more to the new material than it does a design change. I wonder if they'll crease better? Can't wait for the home ny's to drop.

You've been missed. This is the only shoe my dad would by me in grade school & definitely started my sneaker compulsion. Cant wait for "hunter/camo" themes. Bring on the Consortium's.

I like the grey mid-sole & one tone of grey for the uppers versus the white mid-sole & the 2 tone uppers. But the GID sole on the release is way better. I also prefer the black lace wings versus the grey ones on the sample. Thumbs up for going with more GID sole!

@Souledge Jordan brand started with Jordan 4 + in 1999. There were 3 c/w's and none of them had mesh netting, they had perfect leather instead. They all had a jumpman on back. BD

What intrigues me about these is the dimple or hole in the mesh netting. I've never seen that before. Definately better than the perferated leather crap that kept me from buying them the 1st time out. Also plastic "wings" versus the soft ones that came out that year & on the 'Black Cat', 'Pure', & 'Mist Blue' models froma few years back. Please issue!

@305Kicks NBC pack went retail December 24... Although some Champs/Footlockers got them, they weren't GR at every outlet. I'm sure you can get them online @ adidas.com. Here in Toronto they just went buy 1 get 50% off at champs. I'm waiting for a price drop to get my D-Roses. BD
@ChazzoCromartie camping out isn't wack because you do it to get your sneaks. Camping out is wack because that's what you have to do to get your sneaks! In the late '80 & '90 when these guys got into he game, there were re-stocks of all hot releases. If the shoe was selling out, the store would have been reloaded (full size run) within 2-3 weeks. So all you had to know was which store. The fact Nike organizes promotion of their shoes on sites like this shows they intend to create frenzy (aka hype). By deliberately decreasing the amount of product per the demand, they enable the resale market to flourish. That my friend is wack. Don't even get me started on that twitter bullshit. Tell em Clark! If they used white to contrast the toe box & tongue on the Torsion Allegras, i'd get married in them. Would be nice if they kept the patent to mud guard & heel & used a premium leather for the other parts. Still fresh though.
