Epic coverage of a car that is, like many of us here, a childhood icon. This beast is amazing, I remember using this in Granturismo as my endurance car. It had so much power you could plant it in a wall at full throttle and still win the endurance race! Granted it was a circle course. Thank you for the amazing shots Dino!

I have to agree that the cars of today's WRC leave quite a bit to be desired. All of them are the same car, it's like they all got together and said, "only hatch backs ok guys". The other thing I dislike about today's WRC rules is the ability to race in the series without releasing a version of the car to the public in limited numbers. For instance my car was released to the public for that exact reason. I understand that the cars need to be toned down for the public but my car still came turbo and AWD. I sure as hell don't see a limited, AWD turbo Fiesta at the Ford dealers. Nor do I see mechanical similarities in VWs new WRC hero. What gives! That's cool Toyota is looking into participating again, looking into what is naturally in their bloodline. But if I can't buy a cracked out Yaris that's turbo and has a rear diff., who cares. The world just isn't as good as it used to be........end rant.

I agree the rules should be followed by all teams. What I'm saying is RBR knew they were out of spec and knew exactly how to fix it. They decided to push their luck and see how much they can get away with on Daniel. For that I call it a political game.

Poor Daniel. Home track, home podium, excellent performance. All to be stripped away by legalities and politics. Red Bull used him as a ploy to see what they can get away with. God forbid the golden boy be put into that kind of light. I'm very curious as to what the future holds for F1. I think the worst era of its existence is here. I hope to see Hamilton back up front where he belongs.
I keep thinking this exact thought.
Amazing post. Thanks for capturing the awesome images as well as providing a narrative to each one. More than a few of them send chills through my body. F1 is something that I tend to lose myself in, and as I'm not rich enough to ever be on common ground as the cars or drivers, photos like these that ooze emotion are what keep me close to the sport. Keep pushing that camera button, I hope to see more work from you in the '14 season.
