@Neezy - I can see a little bit of the 4s when I look at the blue/teal CW (which I'm not mad at really)... but the military ones have so much going on that you can't even really see the silho of the damn shoe.
i'm not crazy about shoes that scream "Hey look at all this tech I got goin' on!!" I like things a little more understated... but that's just me.

@ThePrufessa - I've done black jeans (triple black unwashed Levis) with my Black / Elec Green ones... and I rock them like untied combat boots - jeans kinda tucked behind the tongue of the inner bootie. The only noticeable dye transfer I have is on those top 2 lace-lock eyelets. You could always break out the can of Scotch-Guard and try to protect them that way LOL
for accuracy's sake: the Jordan FB page is calling the red "Bright Crimson" (not infra)... in case anyone is already outfit-coordinating in their head.

@TheBlackGatsby Also, keep in mind that it's not as simple as just "bring the shoe to the US". Remember - we're talking about a brand that NObody in the US has really ever heard of. To do it right, they have to create awareness thru marketing (which costs big $) - and be able to present their company as a real brand! ON TOP OF THAT - as talented as D-Wade is, IMO, he was never comfy being the franchise; and he's also on a team with LeBron frickin James(!!) - and honestly, shoe sales are part product design, part player, and part marketing. Even pre-LeBron in Miami, when Jordan Brand was running the Agent D3 campaign (which was a great campaign BTW), they still couldn't pull it off completely. I just don't think dude is "THAT Dude". *shrugs*
@Sneaker Movement You're right. Nike is "just a shoe company"; but they are also arguably the most iconic BRAND on the planet. Nike has revolutionized sport culture and shaped pop culture in the same way that Apple has influenced how the world views music players and phones. If you're going to bring on different, it needs to be at least PERCEIVED as being better - and not just a weak imitation. Li Ning totally jacked Nike's steez - and they didn't do anything any BETTER! Sure, they have a built-in home field advantage in China - and there are a lot of feet to put shoes on over there, but that's where their advantage ends... abruptly!
Nike owns basketball. Period. Not saying it'll always be that way, but... OK, yes I am. I'm saying it. Nike owns basketball and always will. Not only do they produce an overall product that is generally superior to other footwear makers - but over the the last 25 years or so, their innovation and MARKETING(!!!!) has done far too much to influence and shape the game and our culture as we know it. Nike has defined what basketball shoe design IS! So, the best other shoe companies can do is try to copy and hope consumers bite. Good Luck with that.
@ThePrufessa PREACH. i'm at 3 pairs right now - and I'm SAD to think of what might come next year. I've said it about 8 times in different posts about this shoe, but it's the most comfortable sneaker I've ever worn... it's like a perfect 2nd skin - and the ride is what you wish your feet felt like barefoot. I've been wearing 1 pair or another almost exclusively since the day they dropped and I still find myself bobbing up and down on the forefoot Zoom for no damn reason - just because it feels awesome LOL. My avatar is NOT lying.
