I'm pivoting from reading this article to going to dinner. When I get back I may pivot and play some God of War. I'm crazy unpredictable like that.

@texxsmith @TeejOud Holy shit man. I know plenty of people that call it coding. And your first statement can be applied to you as well. Who the hell made you the arbiter of what term is correct? NO ONE.

Slap an Apple logo on that and don't change anything else and all the detractors would stand in line overnight to get one.

@phatcatllama Are you fucking retarded? He gives multiple instances where Apple execs try to tie "porn" to Android. It's very clearly a marketing tactic they're using.

Just a rumor I've heard, but I think "mobile" is a "thing".

We use Hipchat but there were some serious security issues with it (not sure if they've been patched). Kind of interested in what Flowdock is doing, although we tried them around this time last year and it was very young then. I'd be interested in a follow-up on what you guys settle on.

My uneducated guess about the Oracle/Sun acquisition was that a lot of it had to do with getting their hands on (A) java, which powers a lot of their software offerings and (B) MySQL, which was becoming a serious threat to them in the enterprise DB space. That was just my guess.

It greatly enhances my respect for you that you're taking that article in stride. If things are looking up around these parts like you say I think I'll start perusing the stories again for a while. And congratulations on the second rugrat as well!
