@PhilipKelly We were a bad team last year, no way to sugar coat it. We didn't win a sec game, bad teams shouldn't win conf games. Good teams beat bad teams all the time, avg teams beat bad teams most of the time.
When I hear the talk about the bottom of the league's record that says more to me about the top of the league not losing games it shouldn't. Bob is an expert in that area.
I love reading pieces that actually have facts and includes a little common sense. Good take.
The female Danny Sheridan
I know they didn't fit the academic and cable viewership that the Sec was looking for. But Louisville always felt to me like a better fit than Missouri in the last round of expansion.
Good piece. It's sad that I can't enjoy being an Auburn fan without having to defend them against shoddy "journalism".
@vol66@aubieman2002 very true how about this one http://deadspin.com/six-month-investigation-reveals-synthetic-marijuana-470787541
And the cycle continues. Article comes out anti-saban or alabama and within a few days an anti-auburn article comes out. Auburn's usual response usually involves how bad the trees are doing.
Some would say Roberts commited hari-kari already with her handling of the duke lacross case.
@TruancyBot I think most people would rather have jj gone and give barbee one more year.
how sad is basketball in the sec? With the resources available to sec schools to not have at least 5-6 teams every year in the big dance is just shameful. Perhaps with the new tv deal schools can reinvest into their basketball programs.
@JB TexasEx I look at the success that freeze just had on the recruiting trail, if he can get into that 8-9 win category at ole miss then he should be very high on texas' list.
Another great article. I'm glad some people still take time to put together a good read, so much on the internet are wild rumors just to get clicks.
@gregpomeroy1Until they are removed from the team they are still part of the team. You come back from suspensions you don't come back from being kicked off the team.
I like the upside of the Malzahn hire. I think he can create an oregon east with his pace. It may not work out but if it does Auburn will be back to the top.
I love the Cam argument agaisnt Chizik. What if Miles didn't walk into a talented roster that Saban left? What if Danny Wonderful didn't play at UF? What if Colt McCoy doesn't get hurt? Chizik won a NC surviving the biggest media storm ever to hit a NC contender. How about a lil bit of credit.
