I honnestly thought just about the same.Would a panel filter in an open type funnel make about the same if not more flow?
That could then be placed along the edge of the intercooler reaching into the corner infront of the wheel, the funnel would go pretty much straight into the inlet of the turbo eliminating the sharp turns of the current inlet pipe.
