@NormanWang Sorry mate just found your email in my junk mail I've emailed you back now, email me if you get stuck again and trust me redsn0w should help you out of this 1 let me know which Shsh blobs you have saved and how far back because if you don't have The ones saved from 4x then you might be stuck on 6.0
@NormanWang right all shsh blobs is, is old jb data that allows you to downgrade but only if you save them. so now go on tiny umbrella and go to advanced and make sure the box is checked that says " request shsh from cydia" and "save all available shsh" and the 1 at the bottom. this will tell you if you have 5.1 saved to downgrade to... do this and then message me back email me if you want - henryhelps@hotmail.com
@NormanWang look all you need to do is go on tiny umbrella click on log and save Shsh blobs in log it will show you if apple is still signing older iOS like 5.1, if the window is closed I think you are in trouble and will have to wait for new jb to come out, but also I know the program redsn0w released a re-restore feature I haven't tried it myself but I could help you, i will have a look and get back to you asap
@NormanWang iPHONE: iPhone 4S, 4, 3GS iPAD: New iPad 3, iPad 2 iPHONE TOUCH: iPod Touch 4-Gen. 1) Turn the device off, connect it to the computer via USB, and launch iTunes 2) Place the iOS device into DFU mode: with the device off, hold down the Power and Home buttons together for 10 seconds then release the power button, continue holding Home button until iTunes notifies you of a device in recovery mode being detected. The devices screen should stay black as if turned off. 3) Restore within iTunes through either method a or b: a) Restore from the iOS 5.1.1 backup you made prior to installing iOS 6 beta b) Restore to iOS 5.1.1 IPSW by Option-Clicking the “Restore” button, and then restore from iCloud backup when finished 4) Let iTunes restore back to iOS 5.1.1, the device will reboot when finished just stole this off a website let me know if you do get back to a 5.1 Typically you can’t downgrade iOS versions so easily, but because Apple is still signing iOS 5.1.1 this allows downgrading to commence with minimal effort.
@NormanWang Well if you have old 5.1.1 Shsh blobs you should be ok with redsnows new re-restore feature I'm not sure about 5.1 but tiny umbrella will tell you if the signing windows are still open. But I do think its do-able. You should watch a tutorial on you tube. If there is a window open you have to restore through apple with the iTunes trick it's ctrl alt and left click on restore
@NormanWang What phone do you have and have you got tiny umbrella on your computer
@OuttaControl Any jailbreak you have to pay for is a scam all I can say is just be patient or sacrifice your jailbreak for a while I'm sure iOS 6 would be cool but much cooler with cydia tweaks to enhance it
@AustinCabooch I agree, I've mooches off these guys for years too. It's just some people on here are so ungrateful we need to be patient and it will come and yeah I have no problem donating either even if it doesn't speed things up, just to show the support and keep them working hard for the new exploits : )
@AustinCabooch I know they will pull through but could be a few months so I'm keeping my untethered 5.1.1 for now 4s, I say we all donate give them some encouragement and show the demand for the jailbreak, could speed things up? Also where is geohot at? We need him back I think
@iphonemodder1 Yeah I think it's best to keep the tweaks to a minimum especially if your tethered
