 @Adelita Great ideas!

So, how do you use Milk of Magnesia as a mattifier?? Very interested to find out!

I have also found that my $6 Loreal  Waterproof eyemakeup remover works as great as my $28 Lancome eyemakeup remover

Your skin tone/coloring: fair with gold Beauty store with the best return policy? Sephora Beauty store with the best customer service? Sephora Beauty store with the worst customer service? Ulta - they only seem to hire idiots at minimum wage...these girls can't seemto even find the shampoo isle when asked. I always hear "well i am new, so I don't know..." i can't wait forthem to fo out of business!

I made the mistake of purchasing a huge eyeshadow palette at Costco... Never again! The texture of many of the shadows was chalky, and inconsistant. The wear time with out a primer was terrible. The glitter ones had fall out city... I eneded up throwing away the set and promised to never buy Stila eyeshadow again! The lip gloss in the click pens are fair- I have enjoyed the taste of many of them, and find I like to leave two in my husbands truck to gloss up on the go... I figure if he cleans out the truck and "accidently" tossed the Stila lippies I would have no remorse. My husband mentions that I have too many lipglosses fairly regularly!

Hi Christine, I absolutely love this color gloss. I was pleased to see you posted information about the affiliate link and commissions you obtain. It pleases me to know that I am able to support your beauty blog in a small way. It is by far one of the best for beauty info- great swatches, original ideas, cool looks, and reliable opinions that I trust.

I was just wondering if the ads around the perimeter can also give you a commission. My web browser has me pretty dialed in, and I always see ads for Lucy and WHBM- both are places I love to shop, and would love to know that you might be getting a small little piece of the action when I make purchases...

Again, thanks for the great blog, and pictures...

I couldn't agree more with what you said! We are lucky to be into makeup, as many of them have beneficial antioxidants and SPF protection. I can assure you that I keep sunblock in my car, desk, and all over the house. I am also approaching 34 and get carded all the time.

I highly recommend the book/ ebook "Makeup Wakeup" for other non-surgical makeup techs to maintain a younger, youthful look. Both authors are in their mid-fifties and basically spill the beans on continuing to look fantastic into your 60's.... for a 10-15 dollar book it can easily take 5-15 years off a ladies suspected age. And, when the time comes when sagging, puffy, eyes start making me look my age I will not even blink twice at having eye surgery.

 @wwendalynne Yes! this is so cheesy... I would have much rather seen a sexy buxom and curvy detective style comic... almost in a dark noir style. I guess it makes me realize just how much I have outgrown Benefit... In my early to mid 20's this was my favorite brand.

 @corallista Love the greens! I have really been into my matte eyecolors and thank you for reminding me to give my greens some love. Gorgeous blog by the way... got it bookmarked now.

Beautiful Joyce! I love those pink lips! Mac Hot House lip glass may need to come home with me! I also loved the winged eyeliner.

I think I will try your "Project 3 lips". I think it will be great to focus on using up some lippies over the span of one month. Thank you for the wonderful idea!

I really should try this! I am a huge Bare Escentuals loose mineral fan. At last count I have well over 500 different mineral eyecolors. Since December I have been trying to use each one at least once before purchasing new colors. It has worked great from the standpoint that in about 20 days I should have used every color at least once- unfortunately I have continued to buy newness as so many great sales and kits have come on the market. I don't feel guilty about having so many colors- I make sure to keep my minerals "sterile" and not contaminate them with brushes or fingers. According to some people minerals will last an incredibly long time!

I have been doing a "Project Bathroom Clutter Cleanout"  with my shampoos, body washes, hair products, and other bathroom supplies. I spent a few hours organizing everything, donating what I didn't see myself using (to a local woman's shelter) and throwing away any products that I felt were garbage. The lack of clutter in my bathroom is awesome- and I have been rediscovering old products that I have loved. Even better, since December, I haven't needed to buy anything other than toothpaste and sonicare toothbrush head replacements. I get a huge thrill everytime I throw away an empty product.

 @Christine (Temptalia) Same here Christine! I love all the reviews you do, and find I can absolutely trust them! I also make sure to take the time to read what you have to say. On a product like this that promises a "heavy pigment" of color I wouldn't normally bother to try it. However, I love sheer and glossy peach lipglosses- so I would consider buying it.
