I like that there is competition out there, because it makes driftting cars and eqiupment evolve.. but peronally I like the freeun "show what u got" gatebil style more, its more relaxed, and you get to see more styles and ways of drifting

Ah, didnt think of that! Just ordered a coupple of redfilters, will try and see if i can get used to it, since i like the effekt it gives

Love it! your the reason I started with film! shot 25rolls of film since i started last years winter and love it! I still find it difficult to master correct exposure, but it gets better with practice :) Ive seen on instagram that u use redfilters. do u use it on all of ur lenses or just some ? I found redfilters to stop some light, and it was more difficult to see whats in my viewfinder with a strong redfilter. Keep shooting film! film is not dead<3

It will always have that fwd look.. the front end ride hight and how its built has always looked a bit strange. I love it though.. when the looks of a car is an outcome of functional racing design I can always appriciate it

You win! Didnt know it was that mutch of a difference.. So yeah I see the need for an intercooler or water/metanol injection :)

@132000 @SMRacing  e85 is 85% etanol and 15% gasoline, so the cooling effect from the 85% is quite significant..

Im always curious as to how photographers like Jonathan decide wether to go with colour or B&W, its probably a gut feeling.. but do you ever combine B&W and coulurs in one shoot, insted of going all b&W or colours ?

Im building a drift car at the moment, but I have no intention of competing in any series. Drifting for me is all about car controll, pushing yourself. You get cred for beeing good mutch like hanging out skateboarding with your friends and showing off tricks. #freestyle #hooning #goodlife Watching livestream FD is for me mutch more about seeing that one sick run, wheter it be competition, practice or qualifying

@Rob Bullough @SMRacing Ive used the presentation mode a bit more since the last time i wrote, and as an distraction free viewing it Works great! The only thing i would have improved is where i click to change Picture. Its kind of annoying to look for the little button on the bottom right each time. If half the image let you og onwards and the other half made it og backwards that would be great :)

not what I hoped for :(

The presentation mode is loading slow,( and the textbox in the corner is annoying.

The whole expreience of reading a story is worse. Mainly because its so mutch taken appart insted of reading it like a book from top to bottom like it used to be.

All the suggestions on what to read, on the right side takes too mutch space, it all looks messy even though the story picture might be beautifull, it all just becomes messy.

you have added a lot of cool features, like the continiously scrolling stories on the front page, I like that. But it might not be too smart to put alot of stuff onto the page, it works fine on my computer, but I could take a wild guess that many will notice it all beeing slower and not as smooth an fine as intended. But I might be wrong all the same.

The background used to be black right ? I liked that alot more than the white. The white pops out and takes away from the story, and what I am supposed to look at, again looks more messy.

I can see as I read through what I have written that its mainly negative stuff, but this is just some of the things that first came to my mind.

I could be all wrong, and the rest of the readers might love it. But I thought Id share my honest oppinion.

As long as you continue to deliver quality stories and pictures Ill just have to adapt to this new layout, but I hope you take some things in consideration, if more readers feel the same way I do.

Happy speedhunting :)

@sean klingelhoefer I wa driving my old crappy escort mk4 down angsten, and 2/3 through the turn Vidar suddenly overtook me like a rocket! It was amazing to be so close and see first hand the amazing speed he had over the crest going upphill. My biggest wow moment til this day

@Larry Chen so the answer is really no, I guess thats the best option if you really need to capture that moment. One thing that I have learnt from reading all your articles here on speedhunters, and that I have started doing myself with great result, is to be more triggerhappy. Relating to that:  Say on a day like f.eks Gatebil where there is more or less nonstop action, how many pictures do you shoot during that day ? How do you go about sorting out the goodies afterwards? Do you store the pictures directly to an exsternal harddrive, or do you keep them on your laptop until youre done editing, and sorting ?

@Larry Chen do you allow yourself to do experimental stuff att crucial moments that you might get only once, and risk loosing that moment, or do you only experiment when you know you can do it over and over again ?

Larry i have a question: When you go to some sort of event, do you have youre speedhunters article alreaddy planed out ? so that later on when you do the actual shooting you sortof try to shoot the pictures you need to make that aricle, or do you just try to take pictures that look awsome, and make an article later on ?

Have as mutch fun as possible. as cheap as possible
